OFFICIAL VIDEO: “Wake Me When It’s Over”

The official video for “Wake Me When It’s Over” is now available. It was created in collaboration between The Cranberries and Limerick School of Art and Design, LIT. It premiered today on rollingstone.com


A few hours after the release, the band posted the following message on Twitter and Facebook:

  2. Cute concept… however I did not like the video at all…. it did not represent the song or band in anyway… like mjord said All Over Now was better… they need to release a video by “the hand” since he is a true fan and would capture everything that is The Cranberries…. miss ya dolly

    Yeah, it’s not for me. Sorry. I think I get the message, but the aesthetics aren’t my thing, and I agree with Vtin: The Hand to the rescue! 🙂

    I agree. I don´t think that it fits to the song. Why not do a animation of the The Cranberries? Dolores is gone but that does not mean that no image, film or illustration should be used anymore.

    Yes I agree. An animated video with all band members instead would have been so much better. And that is a great way to include Dolores. I think they now have to include Dolores in some way. We need to see her.
