Yesterday, Hot Press informed fans that they had started shipping the “Why Can’t We?” book orders, showing on Instagram the platinum edition.
They shared on the occasion the first pictures of the Platinum Edition:
At the moment, only fans who have ordered the Deluxe Platinum Limited Edition exclusively have received the below email.
Those who have ordered both Special Gold Edition and Deluxe Platinum Limited Edition are still awaiting for their order to be shipped.

Those who ordered the Gold Edition are now receiving shipping confirmation as well today.
It seems the last who will get the email will be fans who ordered both editions at once.
UPDATE – 14 DECEMBER
Fans who ordered both editions are now receiving their shipping emails as well.
Hot Press also shared new pictures on their Instagram account stating “deliveries are going out every day”, everyone should therefore soon be getting their order.

All i can see on their video is the poor packaging the books will arrive damaged quite for sure. Such a huge price and no respect for the customers/fans.

I ordered only Deluxe Platinum Limited Edition and have not received any email yet.
If they are shipping the heavy books in thouse thin cardboard mailers I can guarantee that 50% of the books willl be demaged during transportation! I will not accept a demaged book because of sloppy packaing!
I got this message from Hotpress:
I understand your concern. The video was of the gold edition which is paperback and flexible, hence the boxes in the video. We have very particular special boxes for the Deluxe Edition, such as the one you purchased, which will also be wrapped in bubble wrap for extra security during transit.

The video VERY obviously shows the packaging of the Deluxe Edition, no doubt about this since we can clearly see the “designed slip case” as well as the A4 art print of the Cranberries first ever Hot Press cover.
Additionally, this has been confirmed by Hot Press journalist Ellen Gough on facebook group “Forum The Cranberries” when asked which edition featured in the packaging video she answered “That’s the hardback Platinum Limited Edition”
If this is the case we can expect many demaged books…
I can only hope that they are using an extra box.
I received my book today! Beautiful – well done! Great storys, rare photos and memorabilia.
The packaging is a bit better than expected, but I still think not safe enough for worldwide shipping.
Finally received my deluxe book today. Damaged and one month after everyone. HOT PRESS YOU SUCK. Packaging was poor for such an heavy book as many mentionned here since day one, so I al not surprised. 100% your fault.
