Distributor Sheet (also known as Ordering Distributor Sheet, One-Sheet, Sales Spec Sheet) is a marketing document giving information about a new release and summarizing the credentials of the band. Usually one or two sheets (from 1 to 4 pages) describing the promotion and marketing plans developed by the label to help sell a record and convince a distributor to carry and get behind the release. Sent to distributors only such as record shops, they were never available to the general public.
