Dolores O’ Riordan placed under arrest in Shannon, Ireland (UPDATED)

November 10, 2014  |  10 Comments  |  by Camille  |  Dolores O'Riordan

Quite an unexpected news this morning as we’re learning that Dolores has just been arrested by the garda following an “alleged air rage incident” on a flight from NYC to Shannon, Ireland.

The article entitled “Cranberries’ Dolores O’Riordan released into custody of mother after alleged air rage incident in which ‘garda was headbutted and air steward injured’” published by independent.ie describes the incident, explaining that Dolores refused to seat as the flight was landing and stamped on an attendant’s foot.
She then headbutted a garda before spitting in his face at the airport.

We shall probably wait for more information before we get to comment on this surprising event.
Let’s mainly hope our favorite singer is fine and not enduring tough times as it looked like she was lately…

Good rock and roll spirit, I like it.
For all the times I wanted to do it in planes and stayed calm, she did it for me : so cool.
You definitely are a rock goddess.

Cool? Rock Goddess? How about behaving like a loser. I defended this woman when she left hundreds of fans waiting for her to take the stage in Minneapolis due to her “coolness” by giving her the benefit of the doubt. I hope the flight attendant is ok….Dolores….I’m caring less and less about.

      Totally agree with you

  2. Mel

Well agree with all of you. I do understand why it is a little bit of fun and at the same time a little pathetic. Will have to wait a bit more of what really happened to clearly judge.

  3. Tipsy

I am still a fan? Yes…but i really can’t understand her behaviour…that’s something missing and i would understand if she needs a proper mental therapy or if it’s just a runaway depression…

    Really, Dolores?

  5. viktor

    dolores you really rock
    the world, i love you

I’m really happy for what she did, because is a bit of rock behavior, but a bit pathetic too.

Everybody’s judging A PERSON. It has become very common, and even more with the evolution of technology, to give opinion and pointing with fingers at persons as if we are perfect and our behaviour is remarkable.. just because they’re public figures and should be the perfect ones.. I see it everyday, and it is really crazy.. in the one hand if Dolores did what the press said it is not OK.. and in the other hand we did not know the whole story.. remember song copycat? I remember when rumours about the backstreet boys’ death in an accident.. of course news wasn’t fast as now and not as viral as now.. the same happened today.. maybe it was the real story but maybe not.. and maybe the victim was Dolores… We don’t know yet.. but lets start looking inside before criticise or acting like judges or gods who always are perfect. Human kind is becoming really destructive..
