New songs “The Glory, Rupture, Why” described by Dolores Herself

Two new interesting articles about the new album ‘Something Else’ were published today. One in Spanish on Jenesaispop.com and one in English on EntertainmentWeekly.com
There’s a few words in both articles about the theme of every new song. These words come from the press release issued by BMG and quoting Dolores:

-The Glory: written by O’Riordan in the Irish Chamber Orchestra’s rehearsal rooms at the University of Limerick. “I was trying to think of the fact that there is always hope, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how dark life may be. It can be difficult at times, but you have to find the light and the positive in things.”
-Rupture: a track centered around depression “about being in that black hole and finding it hard to get out of it”
-Why: “written just after my father passed away, at the most difficult time”

On the Spanish article only, more (intriguing?) quotes from Dolores:
‘Something Else’ is a nod to the title of our debut album, it’s an uncertain title. It’s not saying there’s going to be more and it’s not saying that this is a great end, either, it’s who knows if there’s going to be more. I think it relates to the first record very well. I have no idea what awaits us. It’s not the nineties anymore, that’s for sure. Nor would I want them to be. Let’s hope there’s more to come. I hope fans like what we’ve done with the songs. I guess you wonder how long your songs will live. I think ours have been very lucky.

The single ‘Why’ is expected to be released next week.
Happy St Paddy’s day!
