To mark the 25th anniversary of “Wake Up And Smell The Coffee” which is coming up in a few days, MCA Records in the US is apparently set to reissue the album on vinyl on 29 January 2027.
Although the news seems to have been published far too early and is currently only available on German website hhv.de (world exclusive!), it all looks pretty legit.
There aren’t many details in the description (in German) at this point, but it looks like there won’t be any bonus tracks, live performances or other extras, just the original album on vinyl (maybe heavy black?) and remastered for the occasion, and therefore different from the version released for Record Store Day in 2023.
To be continued…

UPDATE · 14 OCTOBER

Hi everyone,
I do hope there will be a 2LP reissue with bonus tracks and that this link was only the album 1LP edition like they always do with anniversary editions. It may indeed been announced too early that’s why the link no longer works and it is very possible some more CDs and LPs editions will surface in the coming weeks on the official stores.
I’m sure the announcement was rushed and incomplete, which is why they had to take it down. I’d be willing to bet that this LP is part of an entire 25th anniversary series which also includes 2LP 3LP as well as CD and 2CD formats, just like all the previous anniversary editions.
What about bury the hatchet are they not going to release an anniversary edition with bonus tracks and demos the first three had reissues I hate that it takes such a long time to get there material out it’s unfair I’ve been such a huge fan the cranberries are my favorite band ever
It would be nice if they released a CD with the fifth Complete Session of Wake Up and Smell the Coffee for the anniversary, since it’s still missing from the Treasure box set as well as Roses… and as for the LP version of the Complete Session, it would be nice to do it for Record Store Day…
