From Cranberries.ie:

Noel is currently in New York with Stephen Street, where they have just finished work sequencing and mastering the new album. The next step for the band will be to shoot a video for the now confirmed first single “Analyse”, which will be delivered to radio in August. The director of this video has not yet been confirmed.

We can confirm official release dates for the new album “Wake Up And Smell The Coffee”. Initially the album will be released in Japan on October 9th. International release will be on the 16th of October, and finally North American release on the 23rd of October 2001.

Last week the band completed a photo shoot with Andy Earl, which contained both outdoor and indoor sessions. The outdoor locations around Ireland were Spanish Point , Quilty, and The Burren, all to be found on the west coast of County Clare. Indoor sessions took place in Limerick.

The past 4 weeks have also been busy with interviews by/with various journalists from around the globe. Amongst the many interviews conducted were: TMF and Aloha, (Holland), MTV Italy, Corriero Della Serra (Italy), MTV Germany and MTV Europe (Germany), MTVAsia (Singapore), MTV Brazil (Brazil), ERES Magazine, Televisa, and Zoom TV Radioactivo (Mexico), Rolling Stone, Billboard Magazine, E!TV and VH-1 On-line News (USA) , and Hot Press, Sunday Independent, and RTE Guide, (Ireland). There were and will be many more!

Last weekend’s big event was the Christening of Dolores’ daughter Molly Leigh. Family and friends from far and wide were present to celebrate this big occasion!

The band will go on a worldwide promotional tour starting in August this year. It will begin in the USA and will then go worldwide until December. We will announce the other countries right here as soon as we get confirmation. The purpose of this tour is to promote the new album through television and radio appearances.

For those that don’t remember, Andy Earl has been the bands lead photographer for the last four albums (along with some collaborations). He, of course, photographed the band for the covers of their first three albums.

And now that we have TONS of new media and interviews to look forward to, don’t forget to email The Herald when you see a new interview! You will be credited for your submissions, as always. If scans or type-ups can be made, that’s even better!
