Pledge Music – from disappointment to disappointment…

November 30, 2016  |  8 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

What a very disappointing news for fans who had ordered D.A.R.K.’s “Science Agrees” Screen Print on Pledge Music almost 8 months ago now: the platform is about to refund fans as “unfortunately, not enough orders were placed to meet the requirements for a minimum run to be manufactured

What’s all the more unsatisfying is that -once again- Pledge Music failed to inform fans about it (and to proceed to refunds). Cranberries World’s team got to learn about it today through a fan who emailed Pledge Music to complain as he had still not received the ordered items.
Quite unprofessional taking into account orders have been closed since September 9th… time to realize “not enough orders were placed” on November 30th !!!
They let the fan know they “will therefore be refunding [him] for this item” and “are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and will process [his] refund ASAP.”

Not to mention that this is another loss of money for foreign fans who bought this signed screen print in March when British pound was rather high, and who are going to be refunded now the pound has significantly decreased. Thank you Pledge, thank you Brexit!

Although we’re really excited about the signed vinyl -especially as Olé is treating fans with cool messages as you can see on the below pictures- we have to emphasize Pledge Music’s lame services: release date postponed three times, fans pre-ordered items damaged in the process of delivery, finally delivered almost three months after general sale…

This excellent album has been cursed, to say the least 🙁

Signed LP’s now on their way… and some of them have (already) arrived:

Here’s the Pledge Music message as received:

Hi,
Thank you for your patience waiting for your Signed Screen Print from D.A.R.K.
Unfortunately, not enough orders were placed to meet the requirements for a minimum run to be manufactured and we will therefore be refunding you for this item. We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and will process your refund ASAP.
If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service team via your order here – pledgemusic.com/pledges.

(SPOIL) Possible setlist for the next Cranberries show in Lima, Peru

November 29, 2016  |  4 Comments  |  by Axl  |  The Cranberries

Do not read below if you don’t wanna be spoiled as this is possibly the setlist for the next Cranberries show in Lima, Peru. The source comes from Johanna (back vocals) who posted on her Instagram (Story) account a short video filmed during the Cranberries rehearsals yesterday at the Irish Chamber Orchestra Studio in Limerick. At the very end of the video appears the setlist and The Cranberries Brasil did a screen capture below, so thanks to them for noticing!
For those who don’t necessarily follow The Cranberries on social medias everyday, you have to know that the whole band -including Dolores- has been rehearsing in Limerick for over a week now for the upcoming show in Peru next month. You can find a few pictures of these rehearsals on The Cranberries Instagram account.

Setlist off Johanna’s video:

For those who can’t read:

Analyse
Animal
Wanted
Linger
When You Gone
Dreaming My Dreams
Just My Imagination
Ode
Loud And Clear
Free To Decide
Can’t Be With You
Conduct
Desperate Andy
Playboys
Salvation
Ridiculous
Zombie

Empty
You And Me
Promises
Dreams

Well, this is not really a proper spoil as this is the same set as the European shows this summer. Fans in Peru probably won’t be disappointed as they haven’t seen the band live for almost 7 years. Remember that The Cranberries didn’t visit the South American continent with their Roses Tour and the last time the band played in Lima was during the Reunion Tour in February 2010. This setlist will probably look fresh for all the fans over there.

Songs by Electrons feat. Dolores O’ Riordan coming soon

November 23, 2016  |  4 Comments  |  by Jury  |  Dolores O'Riordan

Yesterday the musician/composer Eric Alexandrakis published on his Facebook account screenshots of what appears to be the Soundcloud pages (yet unabailable) for two songs by Electrons project, La Fine and Spectre. Eric also wrote: “I love these tracks. Coming soon.”

A little reminder for those who forgot (it’s been awhile since we’ve heard any news from Eric)… Electrons is the name of Alexandrakis’ project which includes different musicians from bands like Duran Duran, The Cure, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and others. Dolores O’Riordan recorded her vocals for some of the Electrons’ songs, including La Fine and You Got What You Wanted.

And now it seems we are close to finally hear these tracks!

“Watch Out” second live rehearsal video footage by D.A.R.K.

November 18, 2016  |  Comments Off on “Watch Out” second live rehearsal video footage by D.A.R.K.  |  by Axl  |  D.A.R.K.

Nice surprise today, D.A.R.K. published on their YouTube account a second video of their rehearsal. You all remember the first one which was a one minute glimpse of the song “Loosen The Noose” published about a month ago.

This time this is “Watch Out” and it is the complete song, 5 min long. The video even is mutli-angles and includes a 30 sec intro speech by Dolores herself. The YouTube description reveals the exact date of the take: December 6, 2015… almost one year. Enjoy!
