Below, the very first images of the NNTA remastered double vinyl that weirdly arrived on due date through Amazon. Time will tell if the other versions (CD, transparent vinyl…) will be released on November 13th or earlier.

Source: Shannon Du-fort, Facebook group The Cranberries International fans.

UPDATE

7 more photos of the album, a bit clearer and you can now read the 5,000 word essay on the history of the album written by the band’s archivist Eoin Devereux. The essay is printed on the 4 sides of the inner sleeves, click on images for larger view.

Made in Czech Republic by Universal International Music in Netherlands, so this is the European version.

Special thanks to Philippe Nadeau from Canada for the pics, who received his copy yesterday from amazon.ca (just like Shannon).

“Stars The Best Of 1992-2002” limited & numbered SACD

September 7, 2020  |  1 Comments  |  by Axl  |  The Cranberries

Universal Music Hong Kong just released a limited and numbered edition of “Stars The Best Of 1992-2002” for the first time ever in hybrid SACD.

Limited to 1,000 copies, the album was released on 2 September 2020 and is available in Hong Kong – and almost everywhere online – for the price of 200 HKD (more or less 25 USD).

Back cover says printed in Hong Kong and manufactured in Japan, but the edition is definitely a Hong Kong exclusive (label reads Universal Music Hong Kong on the actual CD) and shouldn’t be released in Japan.

Thanks to Stephane HongKong for info and below pics.

To Dolores – 6 September 2020

September 6, 2020  |  4 Comments  |  by Webmaster  |  The Cranberries

Dear Dolores,

This year, in a quite unbelievable context, you would have turned 49 on this very day.
More than ever, the world misses the dreamer and passionate poet you were.

As always, and like our fellow fans, we, the Cranberries World team members, keep you in our thoughts on this special day, for you will forever live in our hearts.

We love you, Dolores, always.
Happy Birthday!

Dreams Fest 2020 to go live on Facebook this Sunday celebrating Dolores O’Riordan’s birthday

September 4, 2020  |  Comments Off on Dreams Fest 2020 to go live on Facebook this Sunday celebrating Dolores O’Riordan’s birthday  |  by Webmaster  |  Other News

As seen on ilovelimerick.ie today, Limerick county Dreams Fest will take place on Dolores’ birthday as a virtual event this year, live on the Dreams 2020 Facebook page at 1:30pm (Irish Time) this Sunday.

The articles explains that, “the event was filmed previously at King John’s Castle and will feature a host of musicians and familiar Limerick faces who are coming together to celebrate Dolores’ life and legacy. Dreams from the Castle was sparked by Dolores’ brother Brendan with the help of friends and local businesspeople and aims to mark his sister’s birthday through showcasing all Limerick has to offer through art, music and its historical sights. The event features many tributes to the star.”

For the occasion, the festival crew erected on the castle the mural painted in 2018 by Bridget Lambert of Class Art Studio and her 30 students.
Brendan O Riordan commented, “the artwork seems perfectly at home and brings back all the memories of that warm summer it was created.  It’s for Dolores and for all she represents in this world – Love, joy, peace, happiness, music, painting, colour, energy, spirit, vibes, community and inspiration

He added, “the event was small due to restrictions but aimed to give a little hope in these troubled times. We want to see Limerick on the map as the home of one of Ireland’s greatest treasures, my sister, global rockstar and front woman of the Cranberries Dolores O Riordan. Loved by the young, old, city, county, arts, sports she is the common thread that connects so many hearts here and all over the world.”

More photos of the event were already shared yesterday on the Dreams 2020’s Facebook.
