Title says it all…
Good news for collectors and people who still don’t have “No Need To Argue” on vinyl, the masterpiece album will be reissued on Plain Label on July 17, 2015 and can be pre-ordered online right now for $23.78 on runtshop.com

runtshop.com

The news directly came from Runt on Facebook last April 9th:

For now The Cranberries or their management made no official statement, so it is too soon to know if the LP will be available anywhere else but according to the Runtshop pre-order page the offer doesn’t look exclusive nor limited edition.

This reissue might directly be linked to the partnership recently signed by Dolores and Noel with Warner/Chappell Music. If that is the case we could expect some more reissues in the coming months/years.

UPDATE – MAY 12

EARLIER THAN EXPECTED THE LP IS NOW IN STOCK.

Angelo Badalamenti: “Dolores and I are working on her album”

April 15, 2015  |  5 Comments  |  by Axl  |  Dolores O'Riordan

Thanks to Sara from Cranberries Italia for searching the web and finding this interview of the composer Angelo Badalamenti published on spiritandfleshmag.com
It’s a long interview about David Lynch, movies, Angelo’s musical career and other things.

Concerning Dolores there’s only one line but what a line:

Dolores O’Riordan from The Cranberries and I are working on her album;
she’s a wonderful lyricist with an edge to her voice.

The Cranberries’ songwriters sign with Warner/Chappell Music

April 2, 2015  |  4 Comments  |  by Axl  |  The Cranberries

According to the article entitled “Cranberries’ songwriters sign with Warner/Chappell Music” published on musicweek.com, Dolores and Noel signed a publishing partnership with Warner/Chappell Music UK covering their share of the band’s body of work 1993-2004 from “Everyboby Else Is Doing It So Why Can’t We?” to “Wake Up And Smell The Coffee”.

Richard Manners, Managing director of Warner Chappell UK says:

I am delighted Warner/Chappell will provide a home for the works of Dolores and Noel, and I am especially happy to be reunited with their amazing music having signed the band’s original publishing deal at the start of their career. This is a distinctive catalogue, melodically and lyrically, and their huge international success has given it a truly global reach. They continue to be popular and highly respected musicians today, and we look forward to working with them and their management team to create new opportunities for their outstanding compositions and build on their already impressive career.

This is pretty good news which proves that Dolores and Noel still can agree about The Cranberries. Up to now, nobody has heard again of the court action launched by Dolores against Noel a year and a half ago so it looks like things are getting better between them.

Also, let’s emphasize that in this article, P.J. O’Riordan (Dolores’ brother) is mentioned as Dolores’ manager.
