So this may not be news (ok, fine, it’s anti-news), but we know you’d be interested in seeing it anyway. Zombieguide has dug up a bit of an antiquity — an article from the October 26, 1991 issue of “Melody Maker”. The Cranberries are featured on the front of the issue with the caption, “Flying Sauces! The Cranberries take off”, and has one of the earliest interviews with the band printed, promoting their “first single”, “Uncertain”. It’s a rare glimpse at the young band (when they all aged about 19), and has a most interesting description of Dolores’s humble kitchen.
