“Time Is Ticking Out” is the second single from Irish group The Cranberries’ fifth album, Wake Up and Smell the Coffee. The video, directed by Maurice Linnane (U2’s “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me”) features singer Dolores O’Riordan in a Wizard of Oz-style setting, walking amongst poppies and sunflowers, down a yellow brick road. The video’s basic concept elaborates on the song’s meaning: about saving the earth from destruction before it’s too late.
