According to ShowbizIreland.com, The Cranberries are among several artists expected to play at this year’s Meteor Music Awards. The Berries will be joining U2, Westlife, The Corrs, and Samantha Mumba at the final awards ceremony in Dublin this coming March.

Irish comic Patrick Kielty recently officially kicked off the awards at a ceremony in Dublin and is expected to be hosting the final awards show. This year’s Meteor Music Awards will be held at the Dublin Point Theatre on March 4th and will be broadcasted on Irish TV. Over 1,000 tickets will be available for this year’s event, and will be available to record companies and private corporations. Proceeds from the sales will benefit charities associated with the awards.
