The Cranberries stopped into the studios of Bild today, the largest daily paper in Germany, to host an online chat. Norbert from Zombieguide Europe snagged these pics for us (pics no longer available), and also gave us a synopsis of the chat.

Fergal, Mike, and Noel chatted live, answering fan-submitted questions. The last movie they saw was “Rockstar,” they said (Am I the only one that sees the irony in that?). Their favorite football (soccer) team is Manchester United, by far their preference over Bayern Muenchen. The boys even said they liked to play football (soccer) every Friday with their friends! “Time is Ticking Out” will be released in Germany on February 25th. The greatest hits collection, which is to include a collection of all the singles, is now slated for a September release. When asked if the “single collection” will be released in audio or video, the members replied, “Hopefully both!” perhaps referring to a DVD music video collection. Lastly, the band still has no plans to rerelease any early material — for this, you’ll have to buy over the Internet.
