Comcast Presents The Corrs and the Cranberries in Concert; Programs Available Free, Only to Comcast Customers

PHILADELPHIA, March 13 /PRNewswire/ — This month, Comcast Original Programming celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with back-to-back concerts featuring Irish music sensations The Corrs and the Cranberries on Sunday, March 17 at 9 p.m.

Filmed before a sold-out audience at Dublin’s legendary Landsdowne Road Stadium, The Corrs — siblings Jim, Andrea, Caroline and Sharon Corr — showcase their blend of contemporary pop and rock sounds with traditional Irish musical styles. The band’s debut album, 1995’s “Forgiven Not Forgotten,” was a smash hit in Ireland, France, Canada, Norway, Japan, Denmark and Australia. The quartet’s platinum album, In Blue, features the hit single “Breathless,” which earned a 2001 Grammy Award nomination.

Wrapping up the evening, Comcast and Music Choice present The Cranberries in concert, performing past hits and new songs from their latest release, “Wake Up and Smell the Coffee.” Featured songs include the hit single “Analyse,” as well as favorites from previous albums such as “Linger” and “Zombie”. The concert was recorded at Vicar’s Street Pub in Dublin, Ireland. The quartet recently marked their 10th year in music with a tour promoting their new album.
