The Cranberries lead singer Dolores O’Riordan has made several hints in recent years that she would like to pursue a side project in acting. British-based news service Ananova reports today that she has already received several offers and has had to turn many of them down, mainly due to her packed touring schedule.
Her most recent offer came from Irish director Jim Sheridan. “The role he offered me was that of a really provocative woman whose every second word is something dirty,” she told the daily Lidove Noviny after the recent Prague gig. “Jim said he wants his character to be really sexy,” she added, which isn’t too far from what Dolores would like to be playing.
“I want to play some kind of femme fatale – curly hair, big breasts and a tight dress. I imagine it would be like ‘Hollywood! I’m here – Dolores O’Riordan in person!'”
