Concert megasite Pollstar has confirmed the third of five concert dates in Europe where The Cranberries will be opening for one of the biggest bands in the world, The Rolling Stones. The site confirms that The Cranberries will be opening for The Stones on June 10th at the Stadio G. Meazza in the San Siro district of Milan, Italy.
Tickets for the venue, which seats nearly 150,000 people, have not yet gone on sale. This is good news for Italian fans, since tickets for the massive venues are selling at a ridiculously fast rate. With the arenas at near full capacity, the upcoming Rolling Stones tour could easily shatter The Cranberries’ record for largest audience at a single concert, which currently stands at over 100,000 at Woodstock ’94.
The two already announced dates at The Cranberries Official Website, for Munich, Germany on June 4th and 6th have already been sold out.
The Cranberries Official Website has not yet confirmed the date, but is likely to do so very soon. Also be sure to keep an eye on RollingStones.com for the latest ticket information.
