The Cranberries are rehearsing cover songs for their upcoming promo tour. As reported today, the band will record a segment on France 2’s Taratata on January 19. This French show frenquently features artists performing cover songs and duet with other artists.
In the past, The Cranberries recorded cover versions of “(They Long To Be) Close To You” (The Carpenters), “Go Your Own Way” (Fleetwood Mac) and “In The Ghetto” (Elvis Prestley). The band also played a live version of Patsy Cline’s “Crazy” on the Free to Decide Tour in 1996.
The band will not reveal the titles considered as they prefer to keep it a surprise. Fans will have to wait and… hear.
