I experienced a personal tragedy that affected me a lot. The last months of my father’s were very stressful. It took me many months before I could recover from his death. I needed to stay with my family and my children. I feel better today, I can now look at his picture. I now realize that I have to live without him…

She later told that she can’t sing “Ode to My Family” for now because it makes her think of her father. “I hope to be able to sing it back one day, but for now, it’s too soon”.
