Noel Hogan and “The Pigtown Fling” project

In the last few weeks, The Cranberries guitarist Noel Hogan and other Irish musicians have been busy in a studio to record “The Pigtown Fling” album to support “The Special Olympics Ireland”. The recording session started in May and finished just two days ago.

According to the article entitled “Limerick lights up as Ireland’s first City of Culture” published on jetsettersblog.com, Noel Hogan will participate to the project “which will tour the city in a music bus throughout 2014 to encourage and support local musicians to create original work (‘Pigtown’ is one of Limerick’s nicknames, referring to the city’s thriving bacon curing industry.)
