A $250,000 check presented to Dolores’ family for “Zombie” cover

As read on hotpress.com today, Dolores O’ Riordan’s children were honoured with quarter million dollar check from Bad Wolves yesterday on stage in New York City at Gramercy Theatre.

The official presentation was shared live on video on their Facebook.
You may recognize from right to left Donny Jr, Taylor and Don. The check was also accepted on behalf of their sisters, Molly and Dakota.

    I kinda like their version to be honest but really dislike the way they’re all using her death for their fame and that includes also the family to me, well at least the Burtons side as we don’t know or see anything yet from the Riordan side (mother and bros). IMHO.

      Yeah, I have mixed feelings about it. The fact that Bad Wolves basically owe the success of the single to Dolores’ death irks me a little. Their followup single tanked, so they will likely be known as a one hit wonder… and it isn’t even their song. But… it is nice to know that the Zombie torch will be carried on by a band that Dolores approved of. And they are doing the right thing by giving all the profits to her kids… even though I find the gigantic check unnecessary (obviously done for publicity). Like I said “mixed feelings”. As for the Burtons, the only thing that irks me a bit is seeing her ex-husband up there, I don’t know if that’s what Dolores would have wanted.
