    The sad thing is she always said she had never seen Limerick win an All Ireland hurling final. The last time they won was 1973, she was just 2 years old then. So it was probably meant to be that they’d win it the year she died.

    Strange I remember seeing that flag at the match and wondered why the writing on the bottom was in greek.

    It’s ΠΑΟ ΘΡΗΣΚΕΙΑ translates as FOR RELIGION.
