The official video for “Wake Me When It’s Over” is now available. It was created in collaboration between The Cranberries and Limerick School of Art and Design, LIT. It premiered today on rollingstone.com
A few hours after the release, the band posted the following message on Twitter and Facebook:
Nice animated video but I enjoyed all over now most!
Cute concept… however I did not like the video at all…. it did not represent the song or band in anyway… like mjord said All Over Now was better… they need to release a video by “the hand” since he is a true fan and would capture everything that is The Cranberries…. miss ya dolly
Yeah, it’s not for me. Sorry. I think I get the message, but the aesthetics aren’t my thing, and I agree with Vtin: The Hand to the rescue! 🙂
Sorry guys. Still love you though! 😉
I agree. I don´t think that it fits to the song. Why not do a animation of the The Cranberries? Dolores is gone but that does not mean that no image, film or illustration should be used anymore.
Yes I agree. An animated video with all band members instead would have been so much better. And that is a great way to include Dolores. I think they now have to include Dolores in some way. We need to see her.
it was so bad, they should work with Samuel Bayer again for the closure
