Recap on The Cranberries Paris shows – May 4th & 5th

May 6, 2017  |  5 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

No live review on our website on May 4th and May 5th for The Cranberries shows in Paris as most of our team members were attending the shows, so here we are now!

If the first night wasn’t too surprising as the band played the same setlist as in Berlin, the second night was much more special as we were lucky enough to enjoy the world premiere of Rupture.
Here’s the video below:

Let’s note that the band gave a live interview on FB from the Olympia on May 4th in which they confirmed what Dolores had previously mentioned in some recent interviews: the shows won’t actually be fully acoustic but a blend between acoustic and electric versions.
Also Dolores explained on stage on May 4th that they had decided to add some more electric parts to the show not to turn it into a “too boring” performance. This decision to make the set “more dynamic” was probably taken during the rehearsals for the European acoustic tour with String Quarters.

As a consequence, only the new songs from the album are fully performed acoustically on live. This might explain why the North American tour is not promoted as “acoustic”, as opposed to the headline shows in Europe starting from May to mid June.

The Olympia happened to be the first all seated venue on this tour, one may note that Dolores entered the stage on both night asking the crowd to stand up so as to rock the place, which everyone did.

Let’s also emphasise that on the first night, the quartet left the show before Dreams, whereas the song was played with the quartet on the second night!

If it seems that the setlist was “shortened” on the first evening, second evening left more space for the band to play longer outros on their songs, which was very appreciable.

Last, we should note that Dolores sang some alternative lyrics on “Why?” on both night (which did not happen in Berlin) with the lines below :

Somewhere at the crossroads of life
Somewhere in another dimension
Life it really hurts like a knife

In the meantime, here are the first pro pics that can be found on the Internet as well as some cool fans pics, we’ll update this post with some more in the upcoming days.

U.S. and Canadian dates presales: where and when (UPDATED)

April 30, 2017  |  8 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

Some of our readers are asking if there are presales for the upcoming North American Cranberries shows. The answer is yes and it seems there are lots of them! To be honest, this looks like a real mess as some shows feature 10 different presales between May 2nd and May 5th (like VIP packages, Spotify presales, cardmember preferred tickets, The Cranberries fan presale, mobile app presale and more…)

Also, one may note that in their recent interviews, Dolores and Noel have always spoken about 18 dates, which means that 4 more shows might remain to be announced. We may imagine that they’re planning to double some shows (such as NYC as Dolores mentioned several times they would be giving 2 shows there) when the 1st one will be sold out.

Here’s our attempt at listing the presales below:

11-Sep – Nashville, TN – Schermerhorn Symphony Center
Ticketmaster / First presale on May 3rd, general onsale on May 5th

13-Sep – Atlanta, GA – The Tabernacle
Live Nation / First presale on May 2nd, general onsale on May 5th / Floor: standing GA, balcony: reserved seating

16-Sep – New York, NY – Terminal 5
Axs / General onsale on May 5th

18-Sep – Washington, DC – The 9:30 Club
Ticketfly / First presale on May 2nd, general onsale on June 22nd

20-Sep – Philadelphia, PA – The Fillmore
Live Nation / First presale on May 2nd, general onsale on May 5th / General admission only

21-Sep – Boston, MA – House of Blues
Live Nation / First presale on May 2nd, general onsale on May 5th

23-Sep – Montreal, QC – Place des Arts
Place des Arts (English version) / First presale on May 2nd, general onsale on May 5th

24-Sep – Toronto, ON – Rebel
Ticketmaster / First presale on May 4th, general onsale on May 6th

26-Sep – Detroit, MI – The Fillmore Detroit
Live Nation / First presale on May 2nd, general onsale on May 5th

28-Sep – Chicago, IL – Riviera Theater
Ticketfly / First presale on May 2nd, general onsale on May 5th

29-Sep – Council Bluffs, IA – Stir Cove at Harrah’s Casino
Ticketmaster / First presale on May 2nd, general onsale on May 5th

1-Oct – Denver, CO – Paramount Theatre
Altitude Tickets / First presale on May 2nd, general onsale on May 5th

4-Oct – San Francisco, CA – Masonic Auditorium
Live Nation / First presale on May 2nd, general onsale on May 5th

6-Oct – Los Angeles, CA – The Wiltern
Live Nation / First presale on May 2nd, general onsale on May 5th / Standing pit, loung, mezzanine: reserved seating

Most of the venues appear to have an “artist presale” for fans. No clue yet who these presales will be made available to but we can imagine that a link/code will be sent to people who subscribed to the band’s official website newsletter by preordering Something Else? Or maybe the Live Nation subscribers?

Feel free to let us know if you find out more!

UPDATE MAY 1 – 2:20pm (UTC):

Bad news from French fans…

March 17, 2017  |  2 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

Taratata just announced The Cranberries would not perform on their show with London Grammar, Camille & Féfé next Tuesday.

Fans who had reveived their confirmation email earlier this day were just sent a new one mentionning that the band’s performance had been cancelled. No reason given! Tickets remain valid to attend tv show recording on that day though.

Let’s hope everyone’s ok and that the upcoming European tour won’t be affected as well.

Some news from D.A.R.K.

February 22, 2017  |  5 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

Good news for those of you who, like us, have been really enthusiastic about D.A.R.K. (Dolores’ side project with Andy Rourke & Olé Koretsky):

Musicradar.com just published a fresh new interview of Andy Rourke ahead of his performance at London Bass Guitar Show on March 5th, 2017.

Asked if the D.A.R.K. project would remain a « one-off » or if there would be more coming from the band, Andy answered :

« In terms of the D.A.R.K project, we are in writing mode at the moment although our schedules are all over the place. Dolores is busy with a Cranberries tour and I’m here working in LA [on a project with Kav Blaggers, former guitarist from Happy Mondays and Black Grape]. But we have a few ideas already. Watch this space is all I can say. »

Let’s hope for new tracks, and that we’ll get to see these folks live one day, ‘cause their rehearsal videos were really promising!!!

Another round of Italian dates this summer

February 21, 2017  |  1 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

There were rumors band would play at Firenze this summer… this is now officially confirmed!
Festival Firenze Rocks just announced on their website that The Cranberries would join Eddie Vedder to headline the festival on June 24th

There’s very little doubt this festival performance will be an electric one, like Trollrock (Norway) and Landerneau (France).

UPDATE#1: the band also confirmed 3 other shows on their socials:

Fri 23rd June – Anfiteatro Camerini, Piazzola sul Brenta

Mon 26th June – Auditorium Cavea, Rome

Tuesday 27th June – Arena della Regina, Cattolica

It is yet unclear whether those will be acoustic or electric. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we get more info.

Tickets will go on general sale this Friday morning at 11:00 am.
Be warned, there will be a pre-sale this Thursday 10:00 am on Livenation.it!!!

Thanks to Massimo on Cranberries Italia for noticing, as well as Dolores from Croatia 😉

UPDATE#2:
These 4 performances will be ELECTRIC. Livenation Italy just confirmed this info to us by email.
Thanks to them for being so fast!

The Cranberries to perform electric shows on European summer festivals (UPDATED)

February 17, 2017  |  2 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

The suspens is over!!!
Since The Cranberries had announced summer festivals dates, some fans were wondering whether these performances would be acoustic with the string quartet, like the indoor tour announced for May & June 2017, or if they would be regular “electric” shows.

The Cranberries World team contacted festivals Trollrock (July 29th), Marbella (August 5th) and Landerneau (August 11th) to shade light on this, and Trollrock has just answered to confirm the band will be giving an ELECTRIC SHOW in Norway on July 29th.

We’re still awaiting feedbacks from Marbella & Landerneau, though it now makes almost no doubt that these summer festivals won’t be acoustic shows.

Only their performance on May 1st in Wrocław remains a mystery as it’s taking place in an indoor venue and just one day before the beginning of the acoustic tour in Berlin…

We’ll let you know as soon as we hear back from other festivals, Poland included.

Last but not least, thanks to Atle, from Trollrock, for this information.

UPDATE#1 (Feb.21):
LANDERNEAU answered us to confirm the band will be giving an ELECTRIC PERFORMANCE at their festival too on August 11th!
A major THANK YOU to Carol, from Landerneau.

UPDATE#2 (still Feb.21):
Same for the FOUR ITALIAN SHOWS in Piazzola sul Brenta, Firenze, Roma and Cattolica.
Livenation Italia just confirmed these performances will be electric.
A major THANK YOU to Andrea, from Live Nation Italia.

We’re now awaiting feedbacks from Marbella (Spain), Wrocław (Poland), Cantanhede (Portugal).

Some new summer European shows for The Cranberries

February 17, 2017  |  Comments Off on Some new summer European shows for The Cranberries  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

Seems like the summer will be very intense for the band as some more dates are being added every week on The Cranberries summer 2017 tour:

Yesterday, the band announced they will be playing Guitar Guinness Record (Thanks Jimi Festival!) in Wrocław, Poland on May 1st, as you can see on this link.

A new date was just confirmed this morning at Expofacic Festival in Cantanhede, Portugal on August 3rd.

Just like Marbella (Spain), Landerneau (France) and Trollrock (Norway), none of these festivals are mentioning a string quartet. It is thus yet unclear whether these performances will be performed acoustically or not, though we can note the concert on May 1st is taking place indoor.
Our team is trying to get in touch with these festivals to shade light on this.

Keep on checking our website for more info!

First Cranberries summer 2017 show announced

February 2, 2017  |  4 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

We all were expecting this, it’s finally confirmed!
The Cranberries will be touring Europe this summer following the release of their “Greatest Hits” album with the Irish Chamber Orchestra, due late April, early May 2017.

Festival Starlite, in Marbella (Spain) indeed confirmed a moment ago that the band will be playing on August 5th. Tickets are already on sale, price range varies from €34.10 to €223.96

Marbella’s venue:

It is unclear, when reading festival statement, whether or not the band will be touring with the Irish Chamber Orchestra, although they’re emphasizing the quality of the sound on festival site, which could mean there might be chords on stage (?)

Chances are quite high we should soon hear from festival Fête du Bruit in Landerneau (France) where The Cranberries canceled their performance last summer. The festival mentioned several times they would be very happy to welcome them for their 2017 edition, and had already started discussing with their agent this autumn.

Last day of recording for The Cranberries new album (UPDATED)

January 3, 2017  |  2 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

Quite a cool news this morning as the band announced on their socials that today is the last day of recording of their new album.

As you may know, the band confirmed in an interview given in Peru that they would release an acoustic “greatest hits” album of their songs re-recorded with the Irish Chamber Orchestra this year. Let’s note this one should include three completely new songs.

Although they also mentioned in this interview that they would then work on a new album, there’s no doubt the one they’re about to finish to record today is the “best of” album.

Indeed, although our team did not mention it earlier as we do not like to share content from the band’s private socials (we apologize in advance for doing so today), Noel Hogan recently posted a picture on his Instagram account with the words “New parts” on which we can see an acoustic guitar and a couple of songs on a sheet of paper: Dreams, Pretty, Fire & Soul, Electric Blue and Shattered.

It’s quite cool to see that Electric Blue should be part of the album as the song is among the 15 tracks fans let us know they’d like to hear with a new Irish Chamber Orchestra arrangement when we asked them in a poll what would be the tracks they’d like the band to re-record on this occasion.
You can see this poll result on this page.

EDIT 1:35 PM (UTC):
2 photos in studio have just been posted on The Cranberries Instagram account:
“Last day of Band recording”

UPDATE JAN.05:

New pic today on The Cranberries Instagram entitled “String session” and located at Cauldron Studios.

And on Twitter Noel Hogan added the following words“After a quiet few weeks on here I am back to work. Strings today for the new Cranberries album. Last day of recording on this album.”

Pledge Music to satisfy signed Science Agrees vinyl orders in the upcoming days

December 22, 2016  |  1 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

Good news for D.A.R.K. fans who had ordered a signed Science Agrees vinyl and were still waiting for the item to be delivered. After several complaints, Pledge is finally keeping customers updated on their order in the below email:

To all customers still awaiting their orders,

We know some of you have been waiting far longer than you should have for your signed copy of D.A.R.K.’s Science Agrees. This has been due to a number of factors, including the initial shipment of signed stock arriving at our warehouse damaged, and then the time it has taken to get new stock delivered whilst replacement signings happened at the band’s separate locations around the world.

At one point, due to the issues above and other logistical problems, we thought we would never receive more stock and would have to refund you all. However, we are happy tell you we are expecting a limited amount of stock to cover outstanding orders to finally arrive into our warehouse tomorrow (December 23rd) and for shipping to take place as soon as possible. You will receive a notification email once your item ships, but what with the exceptionally busy time of year, we expect this to be in early January.

PledgeMusic and the band apologise profusely for the wait you have endured. We know it has not been good enough, but we hope to get your long awaited signed album to you asap.

Thank you for your continued patience,
PledgeMusic.

This is definitely a HUGE relief as Pledge Music had actually started refunding some of us early December because of stock shortage.

Let’s hope everyone will receive the exclusive items they have ordered more than 8 months ago now.

And thumbs up to the Pledge Music team – once in a while does no harm 😉 – who happened to be very attentive to fans complaints (we can tell for sure as one member of our team was among the disappointed fans who contacted them to express their dissatisfaction).

If some of you are still awaiting for some news from Pledge, drop us (or DoloreO’RiordanSpain Facebook) a word to see if we can help you reaching out to them.

Is Olé Koretsky going to perform with The Cranberries tonight?

December 17, 2016  |  Comments Off on Is Olé Koretsky going to perform with The Cranberries tonight?  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

This is the day for Peruvian fans!
The Cranberries are about to take the stage of VIVO X EL ROCK tonight.
The big question is: Could Olé be a new additional guitarist on the show?
Indeed, as you may have noticed on yesterday’s soundcheck pictures, Olé could be seen with Dolores’ Free To Decide guitar (?) behind Noel, next to Johanna.

This wouldn’t be too surprising as the last 4 shows of The Cranberries -Landerneau FR and the three Cancun MX- had to be cancelled due to Dolores’ back problems.
Olé could thus be replacing Dolores on guitar on songs such as Free To Decide, Zombie, I Can’t Be With You, Dreaming My Dreams, Promises…

Tonight’s concert will tell!
Cranberries World team will try to cover the show live with pics and videos found on the internet.

“No Need To Argue” colored vinyl reissue: 2 versions (UPDATED)

December 11, 2016  |  Comments Off on “No Need To Argue” colored vinyl reissue: 2 versions (UPDATED)  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

It seems like there is an unexpected new item on sale on Runt.com
As you know they announced they would sell some NNTA “cranberry colored vinyl” limited editon starting from September 2016, though two fans recently noticed that they were actually selling one “cranberry” color and one “plum red” color.

The below pictures show the difference between the two:

Thank you to Andrea and Dominestar for noticing.

UPDATE DEC.23:
Some members of our team received their “Cranberry Red” and “Plum Red” colored LP’s.
How to recognize them? Easy, you can’t make any mistake. First they have a different catalog number: PLA 2021 for Cranberry and PLA 2022 for Plum. Secondly, they have different stickers on their cover and the Cranberry sticker is always located on the top center whereas the Plum one is always on the top left. Here below close-up photos.

“Science Agrees” signed vinyls: where is Olé taking us to? (4 UPDATES)

December 10, 2016  |  5 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

As you may have noticed, some of Olé Koretsky’s very cool signatures on Science Agrees vinyls feature some geographic coordinates.
Let’s thus have a bit of fun finding out where Olé is taking us, sometimes even inviting fans to travel in time!

VINYL #1 (thanks to electro1979)

This one makes fans land in Australia, in a residential area: 2 Hewlett St, Bronte NSW 2024.
As Olé mentions the year 1988 and signs “TIME TRAVEL”, we can imagine this could be the place where he spent his childhood? Very mysterious!

VINYL #2 (thanks to peepee173)

“TIME TRAVEL”
Another puzzling one that leads fans to Miami Beach in Florida, USA: 7601 Atlantic Way, Miami Beach, FL 33141, USA. Seems like Olé is again inviting us to travel in time back to 2005.

VINYL #3 (thanks to PT)

“WE’LL GET IT RIGHT NEXT TIME”
Wondering where the Science Agrees vinyls were signed? This one possibly shades light on this question as GPS coordinates point to the Londonian suburds: 12 Swainson Rd, London W3 7XB, UK.
Looking for this address on the Internet will reveal these are Cooking Vinyl offices!
Note the big “KO” on his face… rather cool, isn’t it?

VINYL #4 (thanks to raulovinyl)

“ON MY WAY”
This one is quite funny as Olé mentions he is “on his way” to this destination, which happens to be none other but Shannon Airport, near Limerick in Ireland.
Have safe flights, Olé 😉
Double “KO” on his face on this one !

VINYL #5 (thanks to Andrea)

“GETTING WARMER”
With this new one sent by Andrea from Italia, Olé sends us to Venice beach, Los Angeles.
Not too much of a surprising destination, let us remember Dolores has/had (?) a flat at Marina del Ray and was spotted on this beach in February 2015.

VINYL #6 (thanks to Mario A.)

Another cool “TIME TRAVEL” signed LP. Hard to see it on this picture but 1991 is written on Olé’s face.
The coordinates point to the following address: 1633 79th St, Brooklyn, NY 11214, USA.
Looking at the street view picture on the right, you’ll see a building that looks like a school. Was it Olé’s school (kindergarten?) when he was a child back in 1991?
Possibly, unless he wants us to see the opposite side of the street and the multifamily residential? Could be a place where he grew up….

VINYL #7 (thanks to Richard)

“…CLOSER THAN YOU THINK”
No coordinates on this one but as Richard says: “Pretty cool”

VINYL #8 (thanks to cranfandy)

“SEE YOU AT SIX”
A rendez-vous? How cool!
These coordinates are leading us to 1 Highwood Avenue, Tenafly, NJ 07670, USA.
Looks like a small mall with three restaurants (Sushi, Café & Grill, Vietnamese) a clothing shop for children (Party Girl), a jeweler (Charmed) and a hair salon (BBC Salon).
Where do you think Olé is inviting us? Are we up for a dinner, a jewel, or a haircut?
Our guess is on a restaurant… or wasn’t Olé working as a hairdresser at one point though?

VINYL #9 (thanks to cranmex)

“ARCTIC  OK  THANK YOU”
Just like Richard LP, this one has no coordinates and may be related to travels.
Possibly Arctic is such an exact position itself that it doesn’t need any GPS coordinates!
So travelling to the Arctic ??!!? …  let’s go 🙂
Another cool message for sure.

Feel free to send us a picture of yours, the more we get pieces of the puzzle, the funnier it is.
And most of all, thanks to Olé for this cool treasure hunt.

Pledge Music – from disappointment to disappointment…

November 30, 2016  |  8 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

What a very disappointing news for fans who had ordered D.A.R.K.’s “Science Agrees” Screen Print on Pledge Music almost 8 months ago now: the platform is about to refund fans as “unfortunately, not enough orders were placed to meet the requirements for a minimum run to be manufactured

What’s all the more unsatisfying is that -once again- Pledge Music failed to inform fans about it (and to proceed to refunds). Cranberries World’s team got to learn about it today through a fan who emailed Pledge Music to complain as he had still not received the ordered items.
Quite unprofessional taking into account orders have been closed since September 9th… time to realize “not enough orders were placed” on November 30th !!!
They let the fan know they “will therefore be refunding [him] for this item” and “are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and will process [his] refund ASAP.”

Not to mention that this is another loss of money for foreign fans who bought this signed screen print in March when British pound was rather high, and who are going to be refunded now the pound has significantly decreased. Thank you Pledge, thank you Brexit!

Although we’re really excited about the signed vinyl -especially as Olé is treating fans with cool messages as you can see on the below pictures- we have to emphasize Pledge Music’s lame services: release date postponed three times, fans pre-ordered items damaged in the process of delivery, finally delivered almost three months after general sale…

This excellent album has been cursed, to say the least 🙁

Signed LP’s now on their way… and some of them have (already) arrived:

Here’s the Pledge Music message as received:

Hi,
Thank you for your patience waiting for your Signed Screen Print from D.A.R.K.
Unfortunately, not enough orders were placed to meet the requirements for a minimum run to be manufactured and we will therefore be refunding you for this item. We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and will process your refund ASAP.
If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service team via your order here – pledgemusic.com/pledges.

Badalamenti’s Evilenko soundtrack gets first vinyl release!

A month after Science Agrees release

October 12, 2016  |  5 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

There is renewed hope for fans who cannot wait to see Dolores O’Riordan new project with Ole Koretsky and Andy Rourke, D.A.R.K., live !

Indeed, no later than last night, the band posted the below video on their Instagram account asking fans “which songs would you like to see played live ?

Can we thus expect the band to go on tour late 2016 – which is unlikely if The Cranberries are touring South America – or in 2017 ?

From this small and very exciting preview of the rehearsals, there’s no doubt fans will be very disappointed if the tour is not taking place as Loosen The Noose sounds brilliant here.

Let’s thus cross fingers we’ll be lucky enough to see them live in the upcoming months/year, and that we’ll get to see more of this video filmed during the rehearsals too.

Let’s also note that the Cranberries World poll “What’s your favorite track on Science Agrees?” has now ended, interestingly showing that High Fashion clearly stands out as the ONE song most Cranberries fans consider as their favorite on the album with a high score of 35% !

The second song that received quite a lot of votes too is Gunfight (23%), which is not so surprising taking into account fans comments when the song was released. What a blast !

The two winners are closely followed by Loosen The Noose (20%) and Watch Out (16%).

You can see the poll results by clicking here, a good preview for the band to know which songs fans would like to hear live 😉

POLL: One week’s gone since Science Agrees release, let us know what’s your fav track!

September 16, 2016  |  9 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

It’s been a week since the release of D.A.R.K.’s debut album Science Agrees, a perfect occasion to ask you guys what’s your favorite track after several listens.

Let’s note that we just learnt in a brand new interview of Andy Rourke given by website Cryptic Rock that the two release date postponements they had to went through (release was first supposed to take place in May, then August, then September) were due to “some problems with artwork”. Click here to read the whole interview.

So, because it might a little hard for you to pick only one song from the album, you’re allowed to pick your two “coups de coeur” in the poll below 😉

What's your favorite track on Science Agrees?

  • High Fashion (23%, 43 Votes)
  • Gunfight (15%, 28 Votes)
  • Loosen The Noose (13%, 24 Votes)
  • Watch Out (11%, 20 Votes)
  • Steal You Away (9%, 16 Votes)
  • Curvy (8%, 15 Votes)
  • The Moon (7%, 12 Votes)
  • Underwater (5%, 10 Votes)
  • Chynamite (5%, 9 Votes)
  • Miles Away (4%, 7 Votes)

New Cranberries box set to be released on October 7th

September 12, 2016  |  8 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

Although it might seem out of the blue, it looks like Universal Music is about to (rerere)release almost all The Cranberries albums/sessions (?) on October 7th, 2016…

Indeed, the below item has just appeared on different websites such as Amazon or eBay under the name “5 Classic Albums”.

news-2016-09-12-tc-5-classic-albums-boxset

The box set should contain five CDs although Amazon states there is “one disc” inside.
Indeed, if you search for the Universal 5 Classic Albums collection on the Internet, you’ll find box sets for different artists such as Status Quo, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many others, that all include five discs.

We can thus imagine the box set features the band’s first five albums Everybody Else Is Doing It So Why Can’t We, No Need To Argue, To The Faithful Departed, Bury The Hatchet and Wake Up And Smell The Coffee.

This is only an assumption, but what’s for sure is that the cover of the box set looks just GREAT !

The Cranberries rumored to play in Lima, Perú this December

September 12, 2016  |  1 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

Can we trust Bandsintown?
As some fans have noticed already, a new date appeared on The Cranberries official Facebook “Tour” section last night: it thus seems the band is to play festival “Vivo x El Rock” in Lima, Perú on December 17th.

news-2016-09-12-tc-fb-tour-dates-with-lima-peru

However, let’s note that this date was not officially confirmed by the band nor the festival yet, and that Bandsintown sometimes announces wrong dates due to some keywords misunderstandings.

According to media Peru21.pe and LaRepublica.pe, Papa Roach, Garbage and Simple Plan are already confirmed on this edition’s lineup.

Let’s thus hope for South American fans that this is going to happen, and that some more dates will be announced around this time on the continent.

We’ll keep you updated on this as soon as we have some more news.

EDIT 9:30 am GMT: It seems the date was just taken down from Bandsintown… was that just another keyword mistake or was the official statement spoiled?

Update on Science Agrees release

September 9, 2016  |  3 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

Still keeping you updated on Science Agrees release as it seems some fans were lucky enough to get their hands on a hard copy of the album today!!!

You can check below a pic of the CD, case, booklet published by DORSpain.
(As usual click on the picture to see it larger)

news-2016-09-09-sa-dorspain-scan

We used this occasion to update Credits & Lyrics in our discography, have a look at them.

So… if you managed to get a physical copy of the album, please let us know where it is available to help the desperate fans who cannot find it!
What we know for sure is that no one has been able to buy it in any store in France at the moment.
Tell us more about the availability in your country.

UPDATE:
It seems the album is on sale in Spain (Fnac stores), and in the UK.
Impossible to find it in France / Germany / Netherlands.

Also, to celebrate this release, let’s note D.A.R.K. posted a very cool vid on their Facebook account which you can watch below.

Last, numerous articles are being published to cover this release. Let’s thus put forward this very cool interview of Andy Rourke given to Yahoo Music that should get Smiths fans into this side project 😉

“Science Agrees” release, a few hours left…

September 8, 2016  |  5 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

Are you guys all ready to discover D.A.R.K.’s debut album Science Agrees tomorrow?
Much to our delight the band confirmed a moment ago on Facebook the release date for tomorrow, which is reassuring as after a few postponements we feared the album would never see the light of day.

However there are still doubts on the fact the album will be physically released tomorrow.
Indeed, some members of our crew called their local record stores today to ask if the album would be available tomorrow… weirdly enough they were told they would have none in stocks this week!

So, was Amazon.com right announcing a digital release on September 9th and physical release (both CD and Vinyl) on October 14th? Time will tell, but vinyls/CDs collectors, be prepared for a possible deception… (or call your own local stores NOW and give us hope!)

Science Agrees

What about “Science Agrees” physical release?

September 3, 2016  |  3 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

Is there reasons to believe that Science Agrees release date could be postponed once again, or that the album could never see the light of day? (or at least be released digitally only)

A question worth asking as a fan who lives in Canada caught our attention on an email she received from Amazon.ca to let her know that her Science Agrees vinyl preorder was cancelled because they “expected to be able to send this item to [her]” but they “since found out it’s not available from any of [their] sources at this time“.

2016.09.03 amazonpreordercancelled

Quite a worrying message, especially now the D.A.R.K. European tour has been cancelled (and not postponed) a couple of days ago.

Although PledgeMusic has FINALLY updated the release date to September 9th on their website, let’s recall that fans who preorder the album/vinyl on their platform are made aware that the items should be ready on “October 21st”. Also, Amazon.com states that the album (CD and Vinyl) will be released on October 14th.

Whatever is happening here, we feel sorry for the band as these numerous postponements and cancellations must be quite a disappointment for them.

Let’s note that, on the journalists side, it seems some more promo CDs have been sent recently to the media for them to review the album in their September issues.
Indeed, as shown by the below pictures of two CDs that were sold on eBay recently, Cooking Vinyl pressed a new version of the album.

1st promo CD released in April 2016 (COOKCD642W):

2016.09.03 SA promo refW front

2016.09.03 SA promo refW back

2nd promo CD released in August 2016 (COOKCD642P):

2016.09.03 SA promo refP front

As a matter of fact, first reviews are being published these days, such as the tough one published on Slug Magazine or that of Pitchfork.

Special thanks to Andrea.

Towards another postponement of the D.A.R.K. tour? (TOUR CANCELLED – 7 UPDATES)

September 1, 2016  |  9 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

Some members of our team just noticed that tickets for the Parisian concert of D.A.R.K. on September 22nd are not available for sale anymore at the moment, which could be a very nice surprise if that meant the concert was now sold out.

However, let’s note that, when trying to buy tickets on GDP, buyers are not told that the concert is sold out but that “there was a problem with the reservation”.
Fnac, on its side, mention that “tickets are no longer available…”

What’s more intriguing is that the band was still pushing the date on social media two days ago with a new video promoting the performance at Divan du Monde, which usually tends to show that the venue is far from selling out.

Although all other dates are still on sale, it seems the same “problem” can be noted with the Italian date due to take place on September 23rd at Tunnel Club in Milano.
Indeed, if one tries to buy tickets on Live Nation, the following message appears:

TICKETS CANCELLED

Currently No Tickets Available
Check back again soon for exclusive access to tickets!

2016.09.01 milano tix

This is definitely not a good sign as none of these concerts seemed close to selling out lately.
Let’s remember Dolores recently had to cancel four dates with The Cranberries lately due to health problems.

We fear another postponement/cancellation would deal severe blow to the D.A.R.K. project 🙁

UPDATE 1PM (CET): TOUR IS OFFICIALLY CANCELLED – NOT POSTPONED

Thanks to Cordell who confirmed a moment ago he/she received a mail from Fnac to confirm that the Paris date would not take place.

We also just received an email from Cyprus Avenue, Cork, to let us know that tickets bought for the D.A.R.K. concert were refunded.

Here is the official statement:

DARK have unfortunately been forced to cancel their European tour including their Cork date scheduled for Sept 17th. Refunds available from point of purchase. Statement from the band: ‘We are really sorry that we have to cancel these shows. Unfortunately Dolores has suffered an acute back injury. An MRI scan confirmed she has a bulging disc which causes extreme pain which has meant that she has not been able to fulfil several engagements in the last couple of weeks. We had hoped that with treatment and rest she would be recovered for this tour. Sadly this is not the case and the doctors have now advised full rest for at least the next month to ensure that her condition does not become more serious. Apologies for the inconvenience that this causes, it’s simply impossible to go ahead with the tour.’

Same message for the show in London, Bush Hall.

UPDATE 1:35 PM (CET): Official statement for Milano:

UPDATE 1:55 PM (CET):

Limerick show at Dolan’s Warehouse now officially cancelled, same statement as the others.

UPDATE 2:20 PM (CET):

The Whelan’s webiste just marked the Dublin show as cancelled and the Doctor Music’s website did the same for the show in Madrid at Caracol

FOR NOW ALL THE SHOWS BUT BERLIN, GERMANY ARE OFFICIALLY MARKED AS CANCELLED.

UPDATE 2:45 PM (CET):

Doctor Music‘s official statement for Madrid:

POLL RESULT: Which Cranberries tracks would you like to hear with a new orchestra arrangement?

August 27, 2016  |  6 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

Since we were quite excited about the confirmation that The Cranberries were/had been working on a “Greatest Hits” album with the Irish Chamber Orchestra, we asked fans to pick 15 songs they’d like to hear with a new orchestra arrangement so as to get a preview of what this album would ideally look like for them.

Vote is now over and here’s the interesting result of the poll that received a little more than 100 votes :

First surprise comes from the song who got the highest number of votes, you’d think it would be Zombie, Linger or Ode to My Family but it’s not: DAFFODIL LAMENT is the one track fans really want to see on this album, followed by three hits: Zombie, Dreams and Ode to My Family.

Only one song from the band’s last album Roses made it through the first 15 songs: Conduct, which ends up in the excellent fifth position, followed by the classics Promises, Linger, Ridiculous Thoughts, When You’re Gone and Animal Instinct.

Much to our delight, the eleventh position is held by So Cold In Ireland which we really hope the band will not forget to include on the album.

Apart from Shattered, in twelfth position, the following songs chosen by fans are all issued from first three albums: Put Me Down, Empty, Electric Blue and Twenty One all received 30 votes.

So if the album was to feature 15 songs or so, here’s what hardcore fans would like it to sound like:

GREATEST HITS ALBUM IDEAL TRACKLIST WITH THE ICO

Daffodil Lament
Zombie
Dreams
Ode To My Family
Conduct
Promises
Linger
Ridiculous Thoughts
When You’re Gone
Animal Instinct
So Cold In Ireland
Shattered
Put Me Down
Empty
Electric Blue
Twenty One

Pushing the experience a little further to see what a 20 tracks or so setlist would look like if the band was to perform their greatest hits live with the Irish Chamber Orchestra:

Songs in 17th, 18th and 19th position turn out to be the very awesome Dreaming My Dreams, Hollywood and No Need to Argue.

20th position is held by three tracks that received 23 votes: Astral Projections, Not Sorry and Sunday

To sum up, here’s what a Greatest Hits live with the Irish Chamber Orchestra 22 tracks setlist would ideally look like for fans:

GREATEST HITS LIVE IDEAL SETLIST WITH THE ICO

Daffodil Lament
Zombie
Dreams
Ode To My Family
Conduct
Promises
Linger
Ridiculous Thoughts
When You’re Gone
Animal Instinct
So Cold In Ireland
Shattered
Put Me Down
Empty
Electric Blue
Twenty One
Dreaming My Dreams
Hollywood
No Need To Argue
Astral Projections
Not Sorry
Sunday

Fans may note that no song from Wake Up And Smell The Coffee ended up in the 20-or-so tracks chosen by the fans, whereas this top includes:
– 9 songs from the No Need to Argue era
– 5 songs from Everybody Else Is Doing It So Why Can’t We
– 3 songs from To The Faithfull Departed
– 3 songs from Bury The Hatchet
– 2 songs from Roses

Let’s remember fans did not pick their favorite songs here but those they would most like to hear with a new orchestra arrangement. Apart from the biggest hits, slow songs were clearly privileged – which is not too much of a surprise.

“Science Agrees” being taken down from digital platforms?!

August 19, 2016  |  5 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

Did digital platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer & co get “Science Agrees” release date wrong?

It seems something tricky is happening as the album was just taken down from iTunes music a couple of hours ago, now followed by Apple Music!!!
Could it be that these platforms were not informed that the release date was pushed back? This is a possibility, we’ll see in the following hours if the album remains available on other streaming platforms (Deezer, Spotify…)

If you want to get your hands on it before September 9th, make it fast cause you might not be able to buy it in the upcoming hours/days!!!

Whatever is happening, there’s definitely a mess surrounding this release which was already postponed twice since May 27th…
As mentioned in our previous post, Pledge Music is now announcing that people who preordered the signed CD/LP on their website should expect it to be delivered on October 21st!!!
Last, Amazon.com now mentions a digital release on August 19th and a physical release on October 14th, see below screencap:

2016.08.19 sc amazon usa

What the hell is happening?
Would the band fail to mention the digital album release today whereas they keep on promoting the upcoming Irish shows?

Thanks to Cranberryesque for drawing our attention on Amazon’s new release date

UPDATE AUGUST 20:
The album has now been removed from Spotify & Deezer too!

“Science Agrees” available NOW on digital platforms!

August 18, 2016  |  1 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

Surprising news but definitely real: “Science Agrees” is now available on digital platforms!

Indeed, fans first believed earlier today that the album had leaked, but it appears that it is actually available for digital download on iTunes Russia already, same goes for iTunes Australia as it’s already August 19th there!

2016.08.18 SA iTunes Russia

As a reminder, the release date was first set to May 27th, postponed to August 19th and then postponed again to September 9th. It seems September 9th will thus be the date of the physical release.

The Cranberries World team has already started working on the lyrics, feel free to help us correcting/completing them in our discography 🙂  (if you have any suggestions => “Leave a Reply” below)

As you might know, a demo version of the album had leaked on April 26th in a very private sphere. Some members of our team who are in possession of this version will compare as soon as possible both albums to see if there are major differences such as that we spotted on Gunfight. We will keep you updated on that but can definitely note for the moment that the tracklist is unchanged!

BUY IT AND ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS WE DO!

PS: Thanks to our friends at Cranberries Mexico who were the first to notice the “leak” in the afternoon

UPDATE AUGUST 19:
Although we mentioned last night that September 9th would probably be the date of release of the physical version of the album, it seems we were wrong as Pledge Music updated their website this morning stating that the CD and LP are now available but when clicking on their button it still says pre-order (weird!)
What’s even weirder is that the “expected fulfillment date” mentioned for those who pre-ordered signed album & LP is now set to October 21st!!! How disappointing when you’re among the first ones to preorder the album…

Colmar show + Landerneau cancellation review

August 16, 2016  |  1 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

First we’d like to apologize for this late review, travelling on the road from Colmar to Landerneau (something like 1,100km) within a night was rather exhausting for our team members, but here’s all you’ve got to know about The Cranberries last 2 shows of the European summer tour 2016.

The band arrived in the afternoon in Colmar, France in a private flight. Cool to note that the plane landed right behind the venue on a small aerodrome. Noel published some cool pics on his Tumblr account:

tumblr_obvch9kEoo1s9zd4io1_1280 tumblr_obvch9kEoo1s9zd4io2_1280 tumblr_obvch9kEoo1s9zd4io5_1280 tumblr_obvch9kEoo1s9zd4io6_1280

One more on Olé Koretsky Instagram:

2016.08.12 olé insta

As soon as they reached the venue, fans were made aware that Dolores was unwell that night through a message on her twitter account:

arrived in Colmar France with @The_Cranberries. bulging disk in my back is hurting me big time so please bear with me tonight. Love Dolores

Here’s a small video of the soundcheck filmed by Noel and posted on the band’s Instagram account:

Noel & Fergal then gave a 10 minutes press conference which you can watch online on the below links where they explain why France is a major territory in their career, how they’re getting better with social medias, how touring has become much more relax than it used to be for them at the beginning of their career, what kind of setlist they play live…etc
They also come back on their 2010 performance at this very same festival where the concert had to be interrupted by a power cut and reassure journalists that Dolores is doing well but isn’t a big fan of interviews, just like Mike, hence the fact they’re not attending the conference.

As far as the concert is concerned, the band delivered an excellent performance, especially Dolores who impressively managed to do an excellent job although she was clearly having a hard time. She took time to tell the crowd, in French, that she had back problems and would do her best to sing perfectly as she wouldn’t be able to dance much.

2016.08.12 crowd pano

Highlights of the show probably were Dolores small “uh uh” impro at the end of Ridiculous Thoughts (which you can watch on the video we filmed on the giant screen below) and the always so intense Zombie she dedicated to “all the families of the people who were hurt at the hands of terrorism in France”.

The setlist was quite the same as the other European shows this year:

Cool pics and vids from fans can also be found here:

Dolores received epidural injections which turned out not to be efficient enough to enable her to perform on the following day. Indeed, when she reached Landerneau she was advised not to perform and was medically evacuated to an Irish hospital.

If most of the fans showed lots of sympathy towards Dolores, the “fête du bruit” festival deserves a major red card as they did not inform the crowd of the cancellation before 9pm, that is to say 15 minutes after the band should have taken the stage, whereas the band had already made it official via a message on their Facebook account 3 hours earlier!

Unfortunately we have to cancel tonight’s performance at the Fete du Bruit in Landerneau, France due to Dolores having a very painful back problem caused by a bulging disc.

We arrived at the venue here today for the show but unfortunately Dolores is simply not well enough and in too much pain to perform.

She managed to do last nights show in Colmar but after the performance she was in great pain, which did not improve and forced today’s cancellations.

Sincere apologies to all those who came to see us tonight.

We hope to come back and see all of our fans in France again soon!

Quite a shame especially when you know that the Internet network was barely working on site, which led most of the fans to keep waiting for the band until 9pm with no clue they would not perform…

As you can see -if you speak French- on the below video we filmed, the festival organisers stated they are willing the reschedule this performance of The Cranberries for an upcoming edition.
Let’s hope the line up will be more coherent if this is to happen again cause we can tell you we had to endure some of the worst artist (?!) performances we were given to see in our lives…

To this point, we still don’t know if Dolores is expected to stay in hospital for a couple of days or for a longer time. No announcement re the upcoming Mexican shows due to take place on August 26, 27, 28 has been made yet but they might be compromised (?)

Let’s hope Dolores gets better soon, especially as the European D.A.R.K. tour is to start in exactly a month.

And to help you, here’s an enticing preview of what this album could sound like with an extract from Dolores solo performance featuring the Irish Chamber Orchestra at the Limerick City of Culture New Year’s Eve performance, 2013:

D.A.R.K. lineup for European shows revealed

July 30, 2016  |  Comments Off on D.A.R.K. lineup for European shows revealed  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K.

As revealed by Dolores on Twitter yesterday, D.A.R.K. is currently rehearsing for their upcoming September European tour:

“My first day back with DARK rehearsing for our Irish dates.
Xo Dolores”

2016.07.29 Dark rehearsals

Today, a picture posted on the band official Instagram account reveals the identity of the musicians who will be we touring with Andy, Olé and Dolores:

On the right: Bryan Bisordi, drummer.

On why “Science Agrees” release was postponed twice…

July 20, 2016  |  4 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

As you may know, the third track of Science Agrees, Gunfight, was officially released today as a free download for fans who had preordered the album on Pledge Music.
Like many, we enthusiastically waited for midnight to give this track a listen and found out that mix and lyrics actually differ from the 30-second-extract of the song that was published on Shazam mid may!

Indeed, what we will now call an alternative version featured the following line:

“This love life is doing me harm”

whereas we can obviously hear the below words on the official release today:

“This love life, lost in your arms”

GFlyrx

This interesting change leads us to ponder over the reason that triggered two postponements of the album release date: has the album undergone changes since?

We believe it’s worth considering such theory, especially as, as noted recently, two unknown tracks which are NOT part of the tracklist that was revealed in May have been used by the band in videos made to promote the upcoming European shows.

Are we to expect a new tracklist and different versions of the songs that were sent to journalists in May?
Time will tell, but this is definitely exciting!

EDIT: SEP.09, 2016
Lyrics above were just an attempt before the album was officially released. Now the album is out and the official lyrics say: “You know I can’t sleep” and not “Now”

Another D.A.R.K. track available for download now: GUNFIGHT [UPDATED]

July 19, 2016  |  27 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K.

Thanks to fansite Cranberryesque and Richard for noticing that fans who preordered Science Agrees on the official Pledge Music store will be able to download the third track of the album Gunfight for free in a couple of minutes/hours as it will be available on July 20, probably at midnight. So Australia, Japan, China, Russia and other fans living in the East get ready it should be available any minute now!

gunfight dl

Such a cool treat for fans as this track might be one of the most promising of the album.

As usual, the Cranberries World team has worked on deciphering the lyrics for you which you can find here or by clicking on our Song List A-Z section or the discography.

Please feel free to let us know if you think we got something wrong until we get to read the album booklet.

We’re especially unsure of the verb “cost” on the line “people cost a lot” as some people hear a “L” or a “R” in the word.
Could still be “cost” though, let’s remember the track Black Widow on Dolores first solo album Are You Listening? on which she sang “the b-lack widow” which was confusing for some fans.

Help would be much appreciated if native speakers could give us a hand on this 😉

In the meantime, enjoy!

[EDIT: MIDNIGHT UK TIME]
Gunfight is now available for everyone, finally we had to wait midnight in the UK probably because Pledgemusic is based in UK. Sad news for people living in the East and good news for people living in the West.

UPDATE  – JULY 27 – 1:20 PM (UTC)
Gunfight is now officially available on YouTube and all streaming platforms like AppleMusic, Spotify…

The Cranberries European Summer Tour 2016 is about to start!

May 29, 2016  |  7 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

There a now five days left until the first concert of The Cranberries European Tour 2016 which will take place at the Arena Lublin, in Poland.

Walking through the streets of Lublin, Polish fans will probably notice that the Lublin Arena is doing last minute street marketing to promote the concert these days, as you can see on the below pics:

13305057_1722787741309411_2156671639295396397_o 13316858_1722787837976068_2922001720240505481_o 13320754_1722787754642743_1322898412140100088_o

On the band’s part, Noel posted two new rehearsals pics, mentioning these were the last days of rehearsals, along with a brand new poster of the tour and a pic of crew members’ tour books.

Last, the Limerick Leader posted a cool article about the band’s comeback along with a small interview from Ken Coleman, the Irish digital media artist who took the recent photographs and video of the band posted on The Cranberries official social media accounts.

Ken explained:

They are all in different places at different times, so we had a very small window of opportunity to get it done on a Sunday evening.

We knocked it out in about an hour and a half; green screen, live video, and the stills from that last practice before they packed up.

I got a couple of shots of them and the video and you can see at the very end that they are having a good chat, they were laughing and joking amongst themselves.

What is exciting is the international reaction – the video had 300,000 hits in a day, the Instagram had 48,000 likes.

You guys better be ready for memorable tour!!!

Who’s going to see the band? 😉

The Cranberries back in rehearsals, invite fans to join them and shed a light on D.A.R.K.’s tour postponement

May 15, 2016  |  6 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan, The Cranberries

The band is back to the Limerick Chamber Orchestra studio this week so as to rehearse once more for the summer shows that will take place in Europe and Mexico.

This time, Dolores is rehearsing with the boys, Johanna and Mikey, as seen on the pictures Noel posted on the band’s Instagram account:

These rehearsals are taking place as Dolores should have been starting touring Europe with her side project D.A.R.K.
A great opportunity for fans who were to fly to Limerick to attend D.A.R.K.’s first concert ever as a few of them were lucky enough to be invited by Dolores herself to attend The Cranberries rehearsals twice!

Picture of the girls Noel posted on the band’s official Instagram account!

Congrats to Litsa (Greece), Voula (Greece) and Dolores (Croatia) who probably had the time of their life, enjoying a “private” concert, being offered setlists and taking pics with the band!

The girls used the occasion to question Dolores about D.A.R.K.’s tour postponement and learned that it was due to visa issues for their guitarist, which explains why fans got to learn about the rescheduled dates pretty late. The band is grateful, however, that fans are quite tolerant and not blaming them for this postponement.

D.A.R.K.’s tour dates POSTPONED!

May 1, 2016  |  7 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

If you’ve been following the D.A.R.K. news lately, you probably already know that “Science Agrees” release is to be postponed to August 19th, 2016.

As an obvious consequence, rumor grew that next announcement would concern a possible postponement of the band European tour that was due to take place from May 13th to May 26th.

darkgigspostponed

This rumor was just officially confirmed a moment ago as D.A.R.K. published the below message on their Facebook account :

To all our fans we are so sorry to announce that we have to postpone our forthcoming tour until September due to the last minute unavailability of our lead guitarist and the deferral of the release of our debut album until late August. All tickets already purchased will be valid for the rescheduled shows in September details of which will be announced after the weekend. For those of you who cannot make it to our rescheduled shows full refunds will be given. We sincerely regret this and hope to see you at our shows in September.

The rescheduled dates are not known at the moment but should be in a couple of days.

Quite a disappointing news for fans – especially those who had booked flights, hotels and tickets to be among the firsts to discover Dolores O’Riordan’s new project – but somehow unsurprising.

We will keep you updated on this postponement as soon as we get some more news.

“Sciences Agrees” release postponed?!

April 29, 2016  |  6 Comments  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K., Dolores O'Riordan

Worrying news for fans as rumor has been circulating for a few days that D.A.R.K. debut album release could be postponed to a later date this year…

Cranberries World team had decided not to comment on this as there was no official sign that this would happen.

However, this morning, Amazon UK changed the release date to August 19, 2016 as you can see yourself on this page.

We’ll keep you updated on this unexpected and major postponement as soon as we’ll get more news during the upcoming hours/days, keep on checking our website!

Fans who pre-ordered the album will most probably receive an email from Pledge Music in the following hours/days to let them know when they can expect their album to be delivered, closer to August.

Thanks to Dan Steward who brought our attention to this fact.

EDIT [10:30am GMT]

Confirmed on iTunes.com (and iTunes France) as well for August 19th!!
Thanks to Arnaud for letting us know.

EDIT [11:37am GMT]
September 23 on Amazon Canada, Thanks Andrea!

Mikey Freedom Hart (Ex_Reyes) to join The Cranberries on tour (UPDATED)

April 18, 2016  |  3 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

Our friends at Cranberries Mexico noticed today that Johanna Wiseley (White Prism) who, as we know, have been touring with The Cranberries as backing vocals/keyboard player since 2012, posted a new picture of the rehearsals for The Cranberries summer 2016 tour featuring multi-instrumentalist Mikey Freedom Hart Ex Reyes

In the caption, Johanna mentions she’s happy that Ex Reyes (Mikey) is now “on board”.

Ex-Reyes-The-Cranberries-rehearsals
This comes as a confirmation that, as fans could easily imagine, Russell Burton will not tour with the band as the additional guitarist/keyboard player on the 2016 tour.

It’s now up to European fans to warmly welcome Ex Reyes who, here, succeeds Russell Burton (Roses Tour) and Denny DeMarchi (Reunion Tour) on stage.

UPDATE APR.19 – 7:00 PM (UTC)

Noel Hogan posted 3 new pictures on Tumblr with Johanna and the new guy Mikey now rehearsing with the band.

New D.A.R.K. pictures (UPDATED)

April 3, 2016  |  Comments Off on New D.A.R.K. pictures (UPDATED)  |  by Camille  |  D.A.R.K.

Since the launch of D.A.R.K. official website and the announcement of their European 7 dates tour, numerous media – such as Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, NME… etc – have shown interest in this new collaboration between The Smiths bassist Andy Rourke, The Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan, and NYC based DJ, songwriter and producer Olé Koretsky.

Browsing online articles enable fans to find out new pictures of the band such as this one, found by Cranberries Mexico in Mexican “Indie Rocks!”.

Recently, the band’s publicist in the US, reybee, shared the 2 below pictures of three of them interviewing each other for The Talkhouse in New Jersey, about their new album and how their pasts intersected from being The Smiths and The Cranberries. Podcast should be published online early May

D.A.R.K. official website is now online!

2016.03.23 website launch

This way, the band thus confirmed the 5 European shows in May previously announced this morning, which our team was able to find mostly via ticket sales companies.

The website also features a brand new complete biography of the band as well as an online shop on which fans can order signed versions of Science Agrees CD and LP & a signed screen print!!!

Let’s note that it seems only Dolores and Andy Rourke signed/will sign this last item. Suprisingly, Olé Koretsky is not mentioned, which is a bit of a pity as he’s one of the original Jetlag NYC band members… or is it a mistake from the website?

Thanks to Richard for noticing as well.

Dublin tickets to go on sale tomorrow morning on March 24th at 9:00 AM (GMT).
As far as Paris tickets are concerned, pre-sale tomorrow at 9:00 AM (GMT), general on sale should take place later.

These performances are the first ever concerts of D.A.R.K. announced since Dolores O’Riordan has joined the band. All these venues’ capacity is less than 500 people, which sounds quite exciting.

We believe some more shows should be announced in Europe around these ones today or during the week.

Many thanks to Johann Rosales who first shared the info for Dublin show.

So… what do you guys think about it 🙂 ? Good one, yeah?

One more date in France on The Cranberries summer tour

February 25, 2016  |  1 Comments  |  by Camille  |  The Cranberries

The Cranberries have just been announced to play La Foire aux Vins d’Alsace on August 12, 2016.
This festival is located in the East of France in the city of Colmar (very close to Germany).

The band already played there in August 2010 sharing the bill with a band named Gotan Project. It was the last show in Europe in 2010 and there was a big power failure during The Cranberries set. Fans still remember this particular show as the band had to skip a lot of songs to end the show on time when the power returned. Let’s hope this time fate will be better !

Tickets go on sale on March 4th at 9:00 AM (UTC) on the website of the festival.
