The Cranberries European tour 2017 starts today in Poland. Just like the European Tour last year, the Polish fans have the chance to see the band in concert first.
It’s still unclear whether this show is part of the acoustic tour or not. Probably not… we will know soon.
It’s hard to understand why the band doesn’t communicate more on this point as there clearly are 2 different types of show in Europe this year.
Anyway this is the day and this post will be updated all day and night long on what’s happening now in Poland. The band arrived yesterday in Wrocław and some of the band members posted photos of the city on their Instagram accounts. Here’s one pic by whiteprism/Johanna Wiseley (backing vocals) who, by the way, just announced she was pregnant. The CW team would like to wish her all the best!

Today’s the day, “Something Else” was released this morning to our greatest delight.
Here’s the official promo video posted by the band.
The Cranberries – Something Else – Out Now!
We are delighted to announce that ‘Something Else’ is out today and available for streaming and purchase with all retailers. We hope you’ll enjoy our old songs in new clothes as much as we enjoyed making them.Link: https://cranberries.lnk.to/SEFA
Posted by The Cranberries on Freitag, 28. April 2017
Let us use the occasion to do a small recap of all the promo appearances that are surfacing today. First, keep in mind we’re listing all the interviews given by the band in this section of our website, while their promotional performances are listed here.
Today 4 new interviews were broadcast/published:
– Dolores and Noel on “Gerry Kelly” on BBC Radio Ulster, Podcast available HERE starting at 14:50
– Dolores and Noel chatting to Paul McKenna on AudioBoom.com, audio available HERE
– Dolores for the Huffingtonpost.co.uk
– Dolors and Noel on Paste Magazine
The band also played their new acoustic version of Linger live on “The One Show” on BBC One TV which you can watch below (720p):
The One Show posted a picture with the band on their Facebook page
Some lucky fans attended the soundcheck and managed to meet the band.
Thanks to all of them for sharing!
“The Cranberries Newspaper” posted on their Facebook page a few pictures:
Jordan Oliveira also shared on his Instagram a nice picture of the 4 Cranberries as well as a video of the soundcheck.
And a second soundcheck video on YouTube uploaded by MrNoseyman61
As a reminder the band is to give an interview tomorrow morning at 6:00 am on BBC News TV. The show is called “BBC Breakfast”. And Dolores will also appear on BBC Radio 6 Music at 1:00 PM on Liz Kershaw.
UPDATE APR.29:
A fifth interview by Max Foizey was published today on ktrs.com
The Cranberries just announced on their socials and website the U.S./Canadian dates.
The tour is called “something else tour”:
We are very pleased to confirm that our ‘Something Else’ tour will be heading to North America and Canada in September & October 2017. These very special shows will feature our Greatest Hits, performed with a String Quartet! Don’t miss it!
All dates are on general sale from Friday 5th May!
11-Sep – Nashville, TN – Schermerhorn Symphony Center
13-Sep – Atlanta, GA – The Tabernacle
16-Sep – New York, NY – Terminal 5
18-Sep – Washington, DC – The 9:30 Club
20-Sep – Philadelphia, PA – The Fillmore
21-Sep – Boston, MA – House of Blues – Boston
23-Sep – Montreal, QC – Place des Arts
24-Sep – Toronto, ON – Rebel
26-Sep – Detroit, MI – The Fillmore Detroit
28-Sep – Chicago, IL – Riviera Theater
29-Sep – Council Bluffs, IA – Stir Cove at Harrah’s Casino
1-Oct – Denver, CO – Paramount Theatre – Denver
4-Oct – San Francisco, CA – Masonic Auditorium
6-Oct – Los Angeles, CA – The Wiltern
A few more dates might be announced soon as the band said in their recent interviews that the U.S./Canadian tour was counting 18 dates including 2 in New York.
Let’s also note that, still according to the recent interviews and to the fact this announcement does not mention any “acoustic” show, it all tends to show that this “something else tour”, unlike the European tour, will be performed with a string quartet, but not acoustically.
Also, Dolores and Noel previously mentioned that in those cities, they should not be touring with ICO members but some local strings musicians.
Last, the band also confirmed earlier today during the “Gerry Kelly” radio show on BBC Radio Ulster that a South American tour will follow in the fall including Brazil, Argentina, Chile etc… They’re also hoping to perform in Australia by the end of the year.
They added that they are planning on working on some new material during this leg of the tour so as to release a new album afterwards.
A few hours ago the 4 members of The Cranberries were on Irish Radio RTE 2fm on “The Nicky Byrne Show with Jenny Greene” show. The interview was prerecorded yesterday during their press day in Dublin and broadcast around noon today. Just before the broadcast, Nicky Byrne posted a photo with the whole band on his Twitter account.
Still before the broadcast RTE2FM also posted a multiview photo on their Twitter account.
The interview is about 15 minutes long and starts with questions about The Bachelorette, the music industry being different today, the early years when sending demo tapes and receiving record companies letters/answers, the day when and where Zombie was written.
Then one of the hosts asks about Linger.
Dolores: “it’s about first kiss and how the guy broke my heart”
“Does he know the song’s about him?” replies one of the host
Dolores: “I actually got a letter from him about 10 years later, he just said, you know I’m sorry”
About Irish shows coming up soon, are they nervous or is it exciting.
Noel: “A bit of both, you’re far more aware of it, a lot of family out there and at the same time you can’t wait to do it because we do this a lot all over the world and a lot of people aren’t aware of that so it’s nice to kind of come home, we don’t do it that often so it’s always special when we do it”
About more Irish dates.
Noel: “We never say never”
Dolores: “but after this tour it’s the U.S. in September and then they want us to go in South America“
About the I.C.O. and the NYE gig and if they had already worked with an orchestra before.
Dolores: “Actually Linger, the original recording, there was a quartet used on that”
About the upcoming shows and the kind of songs they’re gonna be performing.
Noel: “Mainly the album that’s coming out, they’re kind of a semi acoustic with the quartet, a lot of the songs in this album I guess were singles over the years so we’ll be doing those. There’s some new songs written for this album … it may change a bit as we go along then add in and take out songs as the weeks go by but there’s enough to cover… the set is an hour and a half, an hour and twenty minutes.”
About another studio album.
Dolores: “Noel writes more on the road cos he has more time so he sends me bits and pieces so it’s good going on tour cos we get to write for a bit.”
About D.A.R.K.
Dolores: “…the material is very interesting, kind of electronic and it’s also very ambiant, very different to what i’ve done before. Olé is opening up for us on his own but then probably when we swing over to America Andy will probably come on stage and do a few gigs with him. “
Special thanks to the fabulous Jackie Hogan for letting fans know about this broadcast just on time.
You Rock!
EDIT: Podcast now available on this link.
For those who missed the band signed copies from The Cranberries official store, you can still preorder Dolores signed copies from Newbury Comics
Price: $14.99
Some of you might remember that in the past Newbury already sold signed CD’s of The Cranberries and Dolores solo (Roses, No Baggage). Customers received a brand new CD still factory sealed and a signed CD booklet apart. Yes it makes 2 booklets. Even if there never is details about that, it might be the very same today.
Please note that CD booklet will be autographed by Dolores only and not the whole band in comparison to the no longer available signed copies from the band’s official store.
Thanks to Cranberryesque for this valuable information!!
One of our readers just shared the Radio Mix Instrumental of “Why?”.
This rare version is not included on the upcoming album “Something Else” (released in 2 days now!!!) and is only available on the UK Promo CD. So thanks to Cranfan for sharing this gem!
Download the track by clicking this WeTransfer link:
File is 8MB MP3
On the other hand, the “Something Else” signed CDs are no longer available to purchase.
No doubt you already all preordered yours, right, otherwise it’s too late now!
After “Why?” promo cd this weekend now it’s the new album’s turn to surface.
Here comes the first image of “Something Else” UK promo CD on eBay.
Reference PROMOBMG1343
Today appeared on the internet 2 new interviews with Dolores. Both are quite long.
The Songfacts.com interview is very focused on “Tell me about this song and that one”
and the ArtistDirectInterviews.com interview is more classic with the usual questions about Bachelorette, Chamber Orchestra, 25th anniversary celebration, the 3 new songs, tours etc..
HOWEVER:
One question in the ArtistDirectInterviews concerns the next US tour still to be announced soon. It looks like the acoustic shows won’t happen over there. The Cranberries will play ONLY ELECTRIC SHOWS.
Here’s what Dolores answers:
D O’R: Well, those venues – I still like performing in those venues. I prefer having electric guitars in the small and crowded, packed venues. So we’re doing the quartet – we’re bringing some electric guitars so it’s blend of electric and acoustic. We were looking at coming over to the States in September – but that will be full live electric, because the venues seem to be more catering a full live electronic show… so those two thousand seaters – the venues are more appropriate than putting a string quartet into a rock venue.
Also to notice in her answer: the European acoustic shows will feature an electric part when she says “it’s blend of electric and acoustic” she is talking about the upcoming acoustic shows in Europe!
Tricky…
Crazy times!! After the translucent red reissue available exclusively on Barnes & Noble, here comes a second reissue of EEIDISWCW on vinyl, this time it will be a 180 grams standard color (black) vinyl. Release date is the same as the B&N one (May 26) but this really is a different pressing:
>Cut from the original stereo tapes by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios
>180-gram LP plated and pressed at QRP
>Housed in a Stoughton old style tip-on gatefold jacket
You can preorder now on AnalogSpark.com
Price: $25
Thanks to Cranberryesque for the info.
UPDATE APR.26:
New release date announced: June 16, 2017
The album is now also available for preorder on AMAZON
UPDATE JUN.17:
New new release date announced: June 30, 2017
Just like the red vinyl reissue, this other reissue has been delayed as well and both vinyls are now expected for the same date.
“Why?” UK promo single surfaced on discogs. Price asked is $128 which is totally insane for something that will end up on eBay for just a couple of dollars.
The card sleeve promo CDR is made by BMG (reference PROMOBMG1342) and contains 3 tracks:
- Why? (Radio Mix)
- Why? (Album Version)
- Why? (Radio Mix Instrumental)
The instrumental track still being unreleased to this day!!
Also interesting to note: title of the song is “Why?” with a question mark which never appeared anywhere before. Is it a mistake or the real title, we should know soon…
Thanks to Cranberryesque for the info!
**********
EDIT: According to credits on the back cover Noel and Fergal are not playing on these tracks. Dan Brodbeck is credited as lead guitarist and Corey Thompson as drummer.
Thanks to Francois for noticing. Maybe the most important information!!!
**********
On the other hand, The Cranberries updated their store and you can now preorder “Something Else” on Double Heavyweight Vinyl for €23.99
Release date is April 28 as well.
The Cranberries posted a photo on their Instagram account of the physical LP (whose hand is it?):
And for those who preordered the signed CD, it should be in your hands soon. Band members are signing booklets these days, here’s a short video posted on The Cranberries Instagram today to prove it:
After “Everybody Else…” reissued on vinyl, another unexpected news today coming this time from D.A.R.K. on their socials.
Olé Koretsky will be joined on stage by DJ Wool performing D.A.R.K. songs and other material, on tour supporting The Cranberries in Europe.
DJ Wool
D.A.R.K. will be supporting The Cranberries on live PA on their European acoustic tour from May 2nd in Berlin to June 10th in Milano. Please note that the summer electric shows in July/August are not concerned, nor the show in Wrocław, Poland on May 1st (which comes as a probable confirmation that Wrocław won’t be an acoustic show). Also, the 3rd Paris show added on May 13th is not on the list but will certainly be included. This seems to be a simple “copy and paste” of The Cranberries website which still doesn’t list the third Paris show (!!??).
For those of you wondering what Live PA means, wikipedia provides a pretty accurate answer: “it is the act of performing live electronic music in settings typically associated with DJing”.
So don’t expect lots of backline on stage, mostly backing tapes on keyboards and computers.
Will Olé Koretsky be the only singer or will DJ Wool be singing too?
We can’t help but hope Dolores will join them at some point to perform as a super guest… time will tell!!!
Very exciting piece of news!
EDIT 9:40 PM (UTC):
Glen Brady, also known as DJ Wool, just posted a great photo on his Instagram account. The Cranberries fans will easily recognize the Irish Chamber Orchestra Studio located in Limerick where it looks like everyone is rehearsing together these days. Nice to discover the D.A.R.K. Live PA set with SCIENCE AGREES on it. We can’t see the whole room but it does look like there’s only one mic for Olé Koretsky. Can we still expect Dolores to make a surprise featuring nonetheless? Suspens…
Last thing to note, Glen Brady is a sound engineer who mixed D.A.R.K. album and was supposed to be an opening act for D.A.R.K. shows last year.
Thanks to J. for noticing!
The album “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?” will be reissued on translucent red vinyl!!
Release date: May 26, 2017
It is a B&N (Barnes & Noble) exclusive.
Label: Barnes Noble Consign
UPC: 0888072028005
Catalog number: 00037
You can preorder it now on Barnes & Noble
Price: $29.99
It’s unclear whether this LP is for the US market exclusively or not and if it will be available in different stores later. Anyway this is probably not the best time to reissue the first album right when fans are awaiting the band’s new album “Something Else” (available in less than 10 days now) and spending money on a new tour, in Europe but also in USA/Canada as we know 18 shows are to be announced soon, and possibly more continents?
Special thanks to Joshua Ryan for the info.

UPDATE May 30:
New release date announced: June 30, 2017
Next Monday at 8pm the Irish radio RTE2fm will broadcast a documentary about Cork Rock 91 which was a three/four days annual event where The Cranberries appeared on the 1st June 1991.
Held at “Sir Henry’s” in Cork it was definitely The Cranberries early years. Dolores was reviewed in a press article as “the most beautiful pop-girl you’ll hear all year”. Exact setlist is unknown but a few songs played that night are known: Uncertain, Nothing Left At All, Put Me Down, Linger, Dreams.

The great website The Fanning Sessions published a Cork Rock 91 dedicated page with 4 bands/4 tracks all recorded from Dave Fanning’s 2FM radio show and one of the tracks is “Uncertain” by The Cranberries. So, before the new documentary this Monday, enjoy or re-enjoy the song now.

UPDATE – APRIL 17
Just a couple of hours after the radio broadcast, the podcast is available on this link.
“2FM MUSIC SPECIAL” is a great documentary featuring a recent interview with Noel Hogan and “Dreams” live at Cork Rock 91 possibly broadcast for the very first time. The Cranberries start at 00:34:19
WE’RE GONNA BRING THE QUARTET
WITH EACH GIG THE PROMOTERS ARE ORGANIZING A LOCAL STRING SECTION
Last Tuesday, Noel and Dolores were interviewed on the US radio SiriusXM on the show “Debatable”.
If you missed it, you can listen to it On Demand on the SiriusXM App. Only working if you are living in the US, for the rest of the world you can listen to the podcast by clicking THIS LINK.
A major thanks to Jackie Hogan who shared it on her Facebook.
Interesting interview which of course includes things already heard before but also a few fresh new anecdotes. It’s about 23 minutes long, a bit too long to summarize everything but here below some highlights:
Dolores: “There was this TV show called The Bachelorette, they asked us to do Linger with a quartet. Well I don’t watch the show, we didn’t know much about it but we said OK […] Linger sounded really nice and we said you know it’s our 25th anniversary maybe we should think doing an album for the fans and doing it with a quartet, that’s where the plan came from.”
Dolores: “It was exciting, the challenge of seeing how the songs might sound without all the electric guitars […] it came together very quickly, we went into a huge room and we tried to do it all live off the floor but the strings were leaking down the mics so we realized that we’d have to do the strings separately…”
Dolores: “They [the songs] kinda feel new this way, so different to the originals, like the originals will bring back the memory of that time at where we were when we were doing, but these new ones remind me now of this time”
Dolores: “with a quartet it’s quite different to the live set, we did a week of rehearsals 2 weeks ago in Ireland and the intros are different and some of the bridges are longer and stuffs like that, so that’s what we have to be very aware, because we’re bringing a quartet and a quartet are playing from a sheet […] you can’t afford to make any mistakes”
Dolores: “The guy who’s leading the quartet, he often looks over…”
Noel: “A lot of our songs, it’s always a guitar base […] and some like Dreams, Ridiculous, they’ve always been very guitar heavy driven […] that was the challenge to kind of break them down without losing the songs completely […] and leaving enough space for the strings…”
Noel: “There’s 3 new songs, 2 of the songs were songs we had for a while…”
Dolores: “The Glory is about 6 months old, it’s very fresh, the other 2 Rupture and Why were written maybe 2 and a half years ago”
Dolores: “The Glory, the chorus came first, the chorus is quite positive and bright so I think it’s a song that has like optimism in it although there’s kind of sadness and nostalgia but there’s also optimism, so there’s a lot of different emotions going through that song”
Dolores: “I didn’t want people to think that this is the grande finale but we’re middle age now, so it’s something else that we’re bringing out but it’s not like a brand new album or new songs either but it’s ‘Something Else’ you know…”
Dolores: “Dreams did jump out to me […] it’s even more vulnerable than the original, so I was quite happy with that one, I think it sounds really nice, I was really impressed with it…”
Dolores: “I’m still very unsecure when it comes to writing […] I’ve always been played by self doubt and fear…”
Dolores: “We’re musicians, we go up on stage and we play music, and I sing, it makes me feel really good and that’s my thing…”
Dolores: “We’re gonna bring the quartet, with each gig the promoters are organizing a local string section, so the guy from the original quartet from UL (University of Limerick, Irish Chamber Orchestra location) he’s coming and they will have 3 other players sitting in, at each show it will be a different 3 players…”
The Cranberries will tour USA starting mid-September. Exact dates will be announced next week. This is great news first reported by the website Cranberryesque:
Dolores and Noel called in to a Chicago radio station this morning and revealed that they will be announcing US tour dates in the next week! Noel said about 18 dates! OMG please come to Florida, it’s been 15 years!! (f-it, I’m seeing them no matter what this time – anywhere on the East Coast, I’ll be there!).
Listen for yourself Here. US tour talk starts about 4:20.
Save the date: another radio interview is scheduled next Monday morning at 9:40 on kvpifm
Dolores and Noel arrived in New York City yesterday to promote the album “Something Else” in the US and a few pictures with journalists appeared shortly after:
with Rachel Brodsky, Paste Magazine
“Debatable” radio show, SiriusXM
with Melissa Stokoski, John Fugelsang and Franck Conniff
“Tell Me Everything” radio show, SiriusXM

2 new interviews with Dolores appeared online this week.
First, the website Hi Res Audio Central published on March 28 an article about the forthcoming album “Something Else” and there’s a few words by Dolores O’Riordan herself. Just a glimpse as more of the interview will be coming soon, closer to the album’s release date says the author.
[it’s important to] keep it all sounding natural and real. I wanted us to do it like David Bowie did, where he would leave in the breathing and other elements in the mix that weren’t technically perfect. Whenever a production is too clean and too perfect, you lose the sense of character of both the songs and the singer.
The second interview is a phone interview given to the Colombian radio station “W Radio”.
It’s only 8:43 min. long and with all the language translations, in the end, the interview is quite short. You can hear the replay published on the internet yesterday by clicking this link or on the player below:
About the music industry which radically changed these days and her strategy:
“I don’t think I have done anything different…”
About Latino America concerts:
“I hope to come back in the next 12 months, I think it’s beautiful and the audience is always great there”
About a Colombian show with The Cranberries:
“We’ll certainly consider that, if the right offer comes in and the gig comes up we’ll be there”
About the album Something Else and the collaboration with the Irish Chamber Orchestra:
“We appeared on an American TV show called The Bachelorette and performed with a quartet and it sounded really nice, we did Linger, so myself and Noel the guitar player we decided to do an album and take all the songs with a live set and do them with a quartet”
About the song Rapture:
“I often find myself quite getting low and when you’re low it’s easy to write…”
“…I had it as a demo… recorded in the last few years, so it seemed appropriate to release it now”
About a song she likes to sing the most:
“I don’t really have a favorite, they’re all different experiences in times in my life and different years so they’re all individually precious”
Third and last thing today, Olé Koretsky published on his Instagram and Facebook accounts a new video recorded inside a cessna with the following (full of information) message:
“New song about time travel. got a few fresh ones. #cessna + #livePA vs. #scienceagrees“

Totally out of the blue, we can watch Olé, Dolores and 2 pilots inside that very small plane and, even more interesting, the soundtrack seems to be a piece of a new song by D.A.R.K.
The images were possibly recorded in Mexico last February while they were touring with The Cranberries. Please note that Olé says there’s a few fresh other songs.
After Andy Rourke recently, it’s good to hear that D.A.R.K. is always on a creative mode!!
It all started last February 9th when Facebook user Cesar Enrique Vera (Quíque Vera now!) posted a behind-the-scenes photo of what seemed to be a photo shoot in Puerto Morelos, Mexico:
(Curiously this exact scene below still havent been published anywhere yet!)
The photo shoot was officially confirmed by Dolores on stage in Cancún.
After that, we learned the photographer was none other than ANDY EARL. As you may know, he already worked with The Crans in their glorious past. His name appears on almost all The Cranberries albums and he is responsible for some of their (very famous) promo pics over these last 25 years.
During their time in Cancún, it seems The Cranberries did a lot of different photo shoots possibly during 3 days. With the help of another Facebook user Victor M Gonzalez Becerra, who published another behind-the-scenes photo, we can date these shootings.
So here’s a recap of all the promo pics so far and some of them in HQ!!
All credits go to Andy Earl/BMG/The Cranberries.
DAY 1 (February 9, 2017)
DAY 2 (February 10, 2017)
No pics from this day surfaced yet!
DAY 3 (February 11, 2017)
UPDATE APR.13:
Another promo pic appeared on the internet today to promote the show in Monaco on August 13th. This one is probably from DAY 3 as all 4 band members are wearing the exact same clothes as the sofa pics that day, just a different place.
Just like the cover of Something Else which is the same as NNTA more than 20 years after, let’s note the resemblance between this new promo pic and AYL some 10 years after!
Nice photo montage made by DO’RSpain
UPDATE APR.19:
Another promo pic from DAY 1 appeared today on the Billboard website/Soul Sisters Podcast:
UPDATE APR.30:
Another great HQ pic found today on DORSpain Facebook. Still from photo shoot DAY 1 and almost the cover of “Something Else”.
The Cranberries announced this morning on their socials the first play of their brand new track “Why” with Jeremy Vine on BBC Radio 2 (England).
As you probably all know, “Why” leaked last Friday and there’s a good chance you already heard the song before. Anyway this is the official premiere today.
…Now the song just aired and as the website Cranberryesque perfectly reported:
“It is a radio edit (as the song clocks in at over 5 minutes) much more compact with a little more production. Most of the intro is gone and it ends with Dolores’ voice.”
Very interesting different version! (3:23)
LISTEN HERE (starts at 48:52)
UPDATE MARCH 22:
The Cranberries uploaded today the radio edit version to youtube.
On the other hand, the long version (the album version) is also available today on digital platforms.
Cranberries World updated the WHY song page with lyrics of both versions!
Two new interesting articles about the new album ‘Something Else’ were published today. One in Spanish on Jenesaispop.com and one in English on EntertainmentWeekly.com
There’s a few words in both articles about the theme of every new song. These words come from the press release issued by BMG and quoting Dolores:
-The Glory: written by O’Riordan in the Irish Chamber Orchestra’s rehearsal rooms at the University of Limerick. “I was trying to think of the fact that there is always hope, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how dark life may be. It can be difficult at times, but you have to find the light and the positive in things.”
-Rupture: a track centered around depression “about being in that black hole and finding it hard to get out of it”
-Why: “written just after my father passed away, at the most difficult time”
On the Spanish article only, more (intriguing?) quotes from Dolores:
‘Something Else’ is a nod to the title of our debut album, it’s an uncertain title. It’s not saying there’s going to be more and it’s not saying that this is a great end, either, it’s who knows if there’s going to be more. I think it relates to the first record very well. I have no idea what awaits us. It’s not the nineties anymore, that’s for sure. Nor would I want them to be. Let’s hope there’s more to come. I hope fans like what we’ve done with the songs. I guess you wonder how long your songs will live. I think ours have been very lucky.
The single ‘Why’ is expected to be released next week.
Happy St Paddy’s day!
According to an article published earlier today on the Italian website Ansa, “Why” will be the first single coming from the album “Something Else” and will make its debut on the radio on March 24.
There is no more details in the article but the information is probably true.
In their press release the band already announced the single “Why” as soon going to be available digitally without exact release date. Now we have one (at least for Italy)
Thanks to Ricardo Cesar for the information.
Also today, The Cranberries published on their Facebook account a short message to tell Linger (Acoustic Version) was now instantly available if you pre-order Something Else on iTunes.
[The song is now also available on major streaming platforms].
And to promote this, the band posted a short video with images recently recorded during their rehearsals in Limerick and featuring Linger (instrumental version) as soundtrack. How cool!

“Linger” is now instantly available if you pre-order “Something Else” on iTunes. This is is the first of many tracks we’ve revisited with the Irish Chamber Orchestra. https://cranberries.lnk.to/SEFA

UPDATE#1 – 2:45 pm (UTC):
The Cranberries just updated their profile pic on their Twitter account.
This picture was taken in the lobby of the Moon Palace Arena in Cancún, Mexico on February 11, 2017.
How cool!!
Thanks to Dan Steward on Twitter for noticing.
UPDATE#2 – 3:50 pm (UTC):
The band now updated all their profiles everywhere, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook.
Even the official website.
Here is their new Facebook banner:
And there are some signed products available to pre-order from The Cranberries official store: https://cranberries.lnk.to/store
UPDATE#3 – 4:55 pm (UTC):
Facebook user Victor M Gonzalez Becerra shared a great behind the scenes picture from the photo shoot (Feb.11, 2017) at Moon Palace Arena in Cancún:
UPDATE#4 – March 9:
The French website Stars Are Underground published today an article to promote the new album and the French concerts. The interesting part features an exclusive new picture of The Cranberries on the sofa. Unfortunately the photo is rather low quality:
On Twitter a famous French radio host named Georges Lang posted the same picture with a wider view and better quality 🙂
During the first show in Cancún tonight Dolores announced before the last song (Dreams) that the band did a photo shoot yesterday, Thursday February 9th in Puerto Morelos, and the picture will be used for the cover of the next album. It is unclear whether this picture will be used as the cover of the greatest hits album with the Irish Chamber Orchestra or the completely new one that is expected afterwards?
Amazing fact, earlier today, an amateur photo of this photo shoot appeared on the internet. Facebook user Cesar Enrique Vera, the guy who took it randomly, didn’t know what was at stake when he captured this moment, he was just there at the right place, at the right time. Masterpiece!
Listen to Dolores’ speech starting at 07:12 on the video below recorded by Cranberries Mexico

UPDATE Feb.11:
Cranberries Mexico was lucky enough to talk about the photo shoot with Fergal, who mentioned that the picture was taken by none other than Andy Earl (who’s very famous in The Cranberries world in case you don’t know) and that they’re not sure whether the photo will be the cover or not, though it should definitely be part of the artwork.
The Cranberries are about to take the stage in Cancún, Mexico
2 days ago they rehearsed for the show:
and yesterday they had a photo shoot in Puerto Morelos.
A non professional and behind the scenes photo surfaced today posted by Cesar Enrique Vera on his Facebook account who just was at the right place on the right time:
Around 6:30/ 7:00 PM today (local time) the band did a press conference:
(There is a periscope video on this link)
and before that (or just after? unclear!), there was a Meet and Greet with a few lucky fans who won the official meet and greet contest:
Now time for the show, fans just entered the venue and the first pictures inside are appearing:
Remember it is a dinner-concert around tables and everyone seated! Quite weird!
Our friends at Cranberries Mexico will try to video broadcast live on CranMex YouTube starting hopefully very soon.
