That one isn’t really new and was already seen on Noel’s Tumblr before but who cares, having The Cranberries on Instagram is definitely a good news…
Follow the band by clicking this link or search for thecranberries.i directly inside the app.
Our friends at Cranberries Mexico noticed today that Johanna Wiseley (White Prism) who, as we know, have been touring with The Cranberries as backing vocals/keyboard player since 2012, posted a new picture of the rehearsals for The Cranberries summer 2016 tour featuring multi-instrumentalist Mikey Freedom Hart Ex Reyes
In the caption, Johanna mentions she’s happy that Ex Reyes (Mikey) is now “on board”.
It’s now up to European fans to warmly welcome Ex Reyes who, here, succeeds Russell Burton (Roses Tour) and Denny DeMarchi (Reunion Tour) on stage.
UPDATE APR.19 – 7:00 PM (UTC)
Noel Hogan posted 3 new pictures on Tumblr with Johanna and the new guy Mikey now rehearsing with the band.
Customers who recently ordered The Cranberries “Single Greatest Live Hits Collection” box set 7″ vinyls at Concert Live just received an email to warn them that their order was cancelled due to additional costs of production. To apologize the email includes a discount code giving 25% off any purchase over £10 made through their website.
Dear valued customer,Thank you for your recent purchase of our new 7 inch single products.Unfortunately, although we have started, and made good progress with the manufacture of these titles, our original supplier has informed us that they are unable to complete the manufacturing due to an increase in their costs of production. This has been very frustrating for us and has sadly meant that the additional cost of production would result in us having to increase the retail price of the products which is not a cost we are willing to place on our customers. We therefore feel that the best course of action at this time is to refund you on your purchase, and offer you a discount voucher for your next purchase with us as although this issue has been out of our hands, its not fair on you, our customers, that this issue causes either further delays, or cost. Please find here your discount code. This code gives you 25% off any purchase over £10 made through the Concert Live website and is active as of now.All refunds are being processed today and will be credited back on to the card you used to purchase. Please note depending upon the bank funds may take up to 5 days to appear in your account. If you have any other questions please contact us at email@example.com.Thank you for your continued support and our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.Concert Live
Fun news today coming from Runt. The album No Need To Argue will be reissued again on September 16, 2016 in a cranberry vinyl version. Very collector!! 🙂
Like the other reissues last year (No Need To Argue and Bury The Hatchet on 180g vinyls) this LP will be released on Plain Label and can be pre-ordered online right now for $29.98 at Runt
Two major news at the same time given by The Cranberries today.
The 1st one concerns the shows in Cancún which are now officially confirmed by the band on Facebook.
As mentioned yesterday the two shows will take place at Moon Palace Arena on August 26 & 27, 2016.
Fans will be now able to buy their tickets confidently as the band will definitely come and play in Mexico.
Tickets go on sale May 23rd.
This is a great news for South America as we can easily imagine these two shows won’t be the only ones on the continent. It would be very costly for the band to travel and play a one-off in one city…
SETLIST WARNING: STOP READING THERE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED.
Second news concerns the setlist rehearsed these days by the band and revealed by Noel Hogan on Twitter earlier today.
Last week The Cranberries gathered in a studio to rehearse a few songs and on the 2nd rehearsal day, Noel posted some nice pictures where we can see the boys and some of their gears.
On one photo we could read what was probably a very first version of a setlist as seen in this news.
A few fans noticed that the list was very similar to that of the Roses Tour 2012!
Today for the second week of rehearsal, the band seems to be rehearsing more songs.
Take a look at the new list below:
Quite a nice surprise as this song list features a lot more rarities with a few ones not played live in a very long time such as Hollywood, Wake Up And Smell The Coffee or This Is The Day. Please note this is just a list of everything they’re trying in no particular order and some of these songs might not be included in the final set. Some more might be added as well. Definitely exciting!
What do you think?
The Festival Jardins Pedralbes (Barcelona, Spain) just released a promo video featuring The Cranberries among other artists playing the festival this year:
Tickets for this concert went on sale this morning. Prices range from €16 to €128!
You can buy tickets online by clicking this link.
Some die-hard fans already bought theirs. Thanks to DO’RSpain for the picture.
More information about The Cranberries announced in Cancún, Mexico on August 26 & 27, 2016.
The shows are still not confirmed by the band but the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort published a new ad on their website a few days ago where the name of the venue is revealed. It will be the Moon Palace Arena. These shows become a bit more likely every day.
A new date appeared today on The Cranberries summer tour 2016.
The band will play at Festival Jardins de Pedralbes in Barcelona, Spain on June 11th.
Tickets go on sale next Monday April 11th. Prices range from €16 to €128
Thanks to DO’RSpain Facebook for the info.
D.A.R.K.’s new song “Loosen The Noose” will be released tomorrow April 8th.
It’s still April 7th right now for half of the world but if you live in a country where April 8th is already there like Russia, Japan, Australia and else the YouTube video link below is already working.
If not midnight for you there’s nothing we can do 🙁 just be patient or try to change your computer clock (not working for everyone!)
Like on “Curvy” Dolores and Olé are both singing on this one.
A cool nice song with very sweet Dolores vocals.
UPDATE 8:25 PM (UTC)
Cranberries World team’s attempt at writing the lyrics can be found on the “Loosen The Noose” page.
If you think there is a mistake please let us know.
You can find more lyrics in the Song List A-Z section.
UPDATE 10:01 PM (UTC)
It’s now midnight all over Europe (except Portugal, UK and Ireland) and the song is also available on Spotify:
Still not officially confirmed by The Cranberries yet, the 2 concerts at Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancún, Mexico next August 26 & 27 have a dedicated Facebook page in English. We can learn tickets will go on sale on May 23, 2016 and their prices range from $129-$249 from the Gold to the VIP section.
Yes this is US Dollars. Quite expensive compared to the European shows but it seems attendees will enjoy a pre-concert dinner at 7:00 PM. Will there be tickets without dinner? Things are quite unclear for now.
Even if the information seems more serious this time than another Mexican concert in the past, let’s hope The Cranberries will confirm these shows before May 23 otherwise fans will have to take a big risk on their own!
Breaking news for Mexico today as The Cranberries are announced to play 2 concerts in Cancún on August 26th & 27th. The information is not officially confirmed by the band yet but was announced last March 24th on the internet by Quintana Roo Hoy.
If confirmed it would automatically mean more South American concerts to be announced soon (and why not a few concerts in North America as well). The last time the band played Mexico -and mostly South America- was in 2010 during the Reunion Tour. The Cranberries have some of their biggest fans there and the band is expected like no other band is. Even more since the last tour for the album Roses in 2012 didn’t stop on the South American continent at all!
Other news, yesterday was rehearsal day 1 for The Cranberries but no information were revealed. Even the very opposite, we had a few more pictures of Dolores with her side project D.A.R.K. doing interviews and photo shooting for a media called The Talkhouse.
These pictures are difficult to date and even if recent (probably taken just a couple of days ago) they don’t mean Dolores wasn’t rehearsing with The Cranberries yesterday or don’t mean she was! What’s for sure is things are moving fast now and it really seems both projects are carried out in parallel by Dolores.
And now today is The Cranberries rehearsal day 2. Noel just shared on his Tumblr account some photos where we can see the instruments and gears ready. We can also see Mike and Fergal & 2 familiar tech guys. Noel is not on the pictures as he probably is the one taking them. No sign of Dolores for now and she possibly hasn’t arrived yet which is not really a surprise as the very first rehearsal days might be instrumental only.
On one picture we can even read some part of the setlist (yes it is readable if you are an expert in Cranberries songs) but no spoiling here, read it if you like or keep the surprise, your choice!
Anyway good things are coming for sure…
Noel also posted a short mobile phone video on his Twitter:

An article published today on the Independent reveals that Dolores O’Riordan will be involved in a project called “Rock Against Homelessness” which is part of the “One For Ireland” campaign. This event is to alert on the overall number of homeless people in Ireland seriously increasing these last months and to raise €1M to fight youth homelessness throughout April.
A concert will take place at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin on April 24 and a charity CD will be released in 3 weeks. Dolores is not on the list of the artists performing at the concert (or is she the very special guest?) but is to feature on the CD among other artists such as The Waterboys, Sinead O’Connor, The Chieftains, The Saw Doctors, Tommy Fleming, Camille O’Sullivan, Mundy and Hometown.
Thanks to A.P. for the tip!
The box sets of The Ultimate Live Collection Volume 2 have just been shipped by Concert Live for once perfectly on time. Some fans already received their box and here below are the first photos:
First thing you immediately notice is its size. It is almost half of the Volume 1 box which was way too large if you remember (see CW photo-review of the Volume 1 by clicking here).
Size of the Volume 1: 29 x 23 x 12cm
Size of the Volume 2: 21 x 17 x 9cm
This time the 4 CD’s inside fit better!
This is the exact same red/cranberries color 🙂 as the Volume 1.
It is interesting to note that for an unknown reason some fans received a white version of the Volume 1 which is quite weird and very collector!
Here’s the white box (on the left) received by Cranberries Mexico among a lot of other goodies ordered:
Will there be a white version of the Volume 2?
Time will tell…
The content of this new box is exactly as announced by Concert Live:
2 live albums recorded on the 2010 Reunion Tour and 2 live albums recorded on the Roses Tour.
- Live at Mediolanum Forum, Milano – 16.mar.2010
- Live at Zénith, Paris – 22.mar.2010
- Live at Hammersmith Apollo, London – 02.oct.2012

The box is still available on the Concert Live website for £25 plus shipping.
Limited edition: 100 copies
D.A.R.K. official website was updated this morning with two new dates in Spain & Germany.
The band will now stop at Lido, Berlin on May 24th and Caracol, Madrid on May 26th.
Let’s note tickets for Berlin are on sale already, whereas Madrid concert is to go on sale on April 1st.
Many thanks to Dolores O’Riordan Spain for noticing!
Johanna Cranitch, now Johanna Wiseley, just instagramed/twitted she’ll be playing with The Cranberries on their Summer Tour 2016. As you might remember she already played with the band on the Roses Tour 2012 on the keyboard and supporting Dolores as backup singer.
Getting excited to join these dudes again for some summer shows. #thecranberries
Great news! See you on tour again Johanna.
A new Cranberries box set is available today on the Concert Live website: the 7″ singles box set.
Named “Single Greatest Live Hits Collection” it contains three 7″ vinyls and is limited to 100 copies.
This live compilation based on the “Greatest Live Hits” 2CD version released by Concert Live before is a sort of greatest hits of the greatest hits as there are 12 tracks only (the 2CD version has 20 tracks).
On the Concert Live banner it says the item is part of a 24h sale supposed to end tomorrow morning at 9:00 but experience already showed this wasn’t really the case and as long as the 100 copies are not sold out the item stays on their website. Anyway if you are interested don’t hesitate too long, 100 is very few.
Price is £24.99 for the box. You can also order each vinyl separately for £7.99
Product dispatch date is May 23, 2016.

D.A.R.K. official website is now online!
This way, the band thus confirmed the 5 European shows in May previously announced this morning, which our team was able to find mostly via ticket sales companies.
The website also features a brand new complete biography of the band as well as an online shop on which fans can order signed versions of Science Agrees CD and LP & a signed screen print!!!
Let’s note that it seems only Dolores and Andy Rourke signed/will sign this last item. Suprisingly, Olé Koretsky is not mentioned, which is a bit of a pity as he’s one of the original Jetlag NYC band members… or is it a mistake from the website?
Thanks to Richard for noticing as well.
A fan who lives in Dublin found out this morning on Ticketmaster.ie – an official ticket sales company – that D.A.R.K. will be performing on Monday May 16, 2016 at Whelan’s in Dublin!
UPDATE AT 11:30 AM (CET)
Second date added in Paris at Divan du Monde on Friday May 20th as per French promoter website
UPDATE AT 1:00 PM (CET)
Two other dates have just been added on Ticketmaster.co.uk
Bush Hall, London – Wednesday May 18th
Dolans Warehouse, Limerick – Friday May 13th
UPDATE AT 1:10 PM (CET)
Tunnel Club, Milano – Monday May 23rd
Dublin tickets to go on sale tomorrow morning on March 24th at 9:00 AM (GMT).
As far as Paris tickets are concerned, pre-sale tomorrow at 9:00 AM (GMT), general on sale should take place later.
These performances are the first ever concerts of D.A.R.K. announced since Dolores O’Riordan has joined the band. All these venues’ capacity is less than 500 people, which sounds quite exciting.
We believe some more shows should be announced in Europe around these ones today or during the week.
Many thanks to Johann Rosales who first shared the info for Dublin show.
A huge thanks to Cranberries Mexico and Andrea Nannelli (Cranberries Italia) who found out first details on D.A.R.K. debut album today.
As published yesterday, “Science Agrees” is to be released by Cooking Vinyl on May 27th (in Europe for sure, probably June 3rd in the US, we’ll get more details soon as far as other territories are concerned).
Tracklist can already be found on Amazon:
1. Curvy (05:28)
2. Chynamite (03:38)
3. Gunfight (03:17)
4. Steal You Away (04:39)
5. High Fashion (04:06)
6. Watch Out (04:33)
7. Miles Away (04:09)
8. The Moon (04:36)
9. Underwater (04:16)
10. Loosen The Noose (04:25)
Total length: 00:43:07
And best surprise of the day comes again from Cranberries Mexico as the single, Curvy, is already available on Spotify Mexico and has since been uploaded on YouTube for those who can’t access the link:
So… what do you guys think about it 🙂 ? Good one, yeah?
UPDATE 3:30 PM (UTC)
UPDATE 3:40 PM (UTC)
Fourth song of the album Steal You Away was performed live before in 2012, before Dolores got to join the band. You can watch the performance below:
Another date of The Cranberries summer tour was just announced today.
The band will play “Fête du bruit dans Landerneau” festival on August 13, 2016.
The festival is located in Landerneau, France near Brest on the very west side of the country.
Source: Fête du bruit dans Landerneau
Another date has been added to the 2016 summer European tour this morning as festival La Nuit de l’Erdre in Nort-sur-Erdre (France) announced that The Cranberries would headline the festival on July 1st.
Information can be found on the official website of the festival
Tickets already on sale (€37,99), click on the word “billetterie”
The song title(s) is (are) not yet known but The Cranberries are on the list of the artists appearing in the videogame “Rock Band 4” for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and others.
For those who have no idea what this game is all about, it allows up to four players to simulate the performance of popular rock songs by playing with controllers modeled after musical instruments. Players can play the lead guitar, bass guitar and drums parts to songs with instrument controllers as well as sing through a USB microphone.
Here is the list of the artists being part of the next March DLC(*) as announced by developer Harmonix:
- 5 Seconds of Summer
- Carrie Underwood
- The Cranberries
- Fall Out Boy
- Luke Bryan
- Neon Trees
- One Direction
- Sam Hunt
If there is only one song of The Cranberries in Rock Band 4 it will surely be “Zombie”.
If more than one so guess the songs… Any idea?
According to Bastián a longtime gamer and Cranberries fan (see his message below) the band already appeared in the video games “Rockband Blitz” (Linger) and “Singstar” (Linger, Zombie, Stars).
“Zombie” might be in “Rocksmith” as well.
(*) DLC is a sort of downloadable update, a not-free update, you have to pay more money to play those artists as they are not part of the main collection (Rock Band 4 was released in October 2015).

Finally it is 3 new tracks from The Cranberries available tomorrow:
Ode To My Family
The tracklist was just announced today on the Facebook page of Rock Band 4.
So it makes a total of 4 Cranberries songs as Linger was already available as DLC before.
OUT NOW, HERE IS THE PROMO VIDEO
“ODE TO MY FAMILY”

The Cranberries have just been announced to play La Foire aux Vins d’Alsace on August 12, 2016.
This festival is located in the East of France in the city of Colmar (very close to Germany).
The band already played there in August 2010 sharing the bill with a band named Gotan Project. It was the last show in Europe in 2010 and there was a big power failure during The Cranberries set. Fans still remember this particular show as the band had to skip a lot of songs to end the show on time when the power returned. Let’s hope this time fate will be better !
Tickets go on sale on March 4th at 9:00 AM (UTC) on the website of the festival.
Click on the word “Billetterie”
Thanks to Stephan for the tip.
